This comfortable single room in a shared house, in a working class neighbourhood, centrally located near public transport and a short drive to the city center and beach. Bathroom and kitchen shared with other guest. An outdoor gym area is a stonesthrow away. Shops nearby. Intimate/overnight guests not allowed for the comfort and safety of all in my home. On-street parking. Not suitable for heavy drinkers. Not suitable for work from home that involves lots of talking. Bed weight limit 100 kg. The space It's a smallish two bedroom home with a shared bathroom and kitchen. Each room accommodates 1 guest, so no more than 2 people in the house at any time. Cleaning lady comes on Tuesdays and does everyone's laundry. Guest access Guests have access to all the common space: Kitchen, yard, lounge, bathroom. Kitchen, lounge, bathroom and lounge shared with other guests. unlimited wifi. Washing machine isn't available for individual use. The cleaning lady does everyone's washing once per seek. Cooking times should be reasonable to accomodate all guests. There is a desk in each room to enable guests to comfortably work in their room. The common area like the lounge and kitchen are for the use of all guests. Online meetings and fone calls are therefore to be kept to a minimum as a common courtesy in the common areas. It is quite a disturbance to others in the shared space to have a person constantly talking to a device for hours on end in the common area. During your stay I am off site but live nearby and am available should a guest need me. I live 5 minutes away. Other things to note Brooklyn is a mixed income suburb so there may be houses in the area that need a lick of paint and TLC. It is safe though, in relation to the safety spectrum in South Africa, but not a leafy green suburb.
