“Artists’ Paradise!” This 500 sq ft one-bedroom storybook cabin (ideal for just two adults - no parties!) was built in 1930 by Idyllwild miners and is hidden on an acre of thick woods with private hiking trails where you will discover a large hovering UFO, 2 real crashed airplanes, among other artifacts. It is also home to the owner’s vintage Jeep and motorcycle collection. Every room is filled with original rock and roll themed art projects and the kitchen ceiling is a museum unto itself. Also, included are 4 decks, a private tiki garden with water feature and a water feature that runs across the front yard next to a yoga platform, ending at your front door. There is also a hidden Dharma Amphitheater, with four large statues representing Buddha’s birth, enlightenment, first lecture and death. You have arrived! Guest access The entire house and one acre of pure, thick, private mountain forest are yours. Other things to note Please respect two dogs only policy. Please keep your dogs with you at all times - please never leave your dogs alone in the house. Note that there is a 3 night minimum stay for Thanksgiving and a 4 night minimum stay Christmas week. Note also that like most 100 year old cabins in Idyllwild, there is no central air or heat. However, there is an AC and heat unit in the bedroom; a ceiling fan, heater and an amazing fireplace in the living room; and a ceiling fan, large floor fan and propane fireplace in the kitchen. IMPORTANT NOTE: During the hot summers, the AC in the bedroom will keep you nice and cool but the living room and kitchen can get warm during hot days, so keep the fans going!
