The space Welcome to our getaway in the heart of the Vexin Newly renovated apartment located in the heart of the French Vexin countryside, quiet, surrounded by forests, birds, and horses. You can enjoy a quiet and rejuvenating environment, rest, and discover our beautiful region of the French Vexin through numerous walks and visits. We are located between Beauvais, Pontoise, L'Isle-Adam, Cergy and Gisors. You can therefore discover many cultural and touristic sites nearby, including the châteaux of Auvers-sur-Oise, La Roche-Guyon and Villarceaux, Monet's gardens at Giverny, Gerberoy, and many others. For golf lovers, we are also close to several courses: Ivry-le-Temple, Ableiges, Chaumont-en-Vexin, Cergy and L'Isle-Adam. Beauvais Airport is about 45 minutes away. Access and parking A car is necessary to get here. An outdoor parking space will be reserved for you. If you are coming with multiple vehicles, please let us know in advance so we can best organize parking. Central Paris is about an hour away by car. The nearby train stations are Chars, Méru, Pontoise and Cergy-Préfecture. Important: Charging electric vehicles is not allowed on the property. Please provide a charging solution outside the home. The space can accommodate up to four people and a baby. It has a separate, secluded bedroom with a 160 x 200 cm bed. In the main room, the sofa bed also offers a bed measuring 160 x 200 cm. The main room is a lovely living and dining area with a kitchenette equipped with a microwave, dishwasher, fridge, Dolce Gusto coffee machine and kettle. A crib, a high chair and various children's accessories can be provided. These amenities are not stored directly in the property. Please let us know your needs in advance so we can prepare them for your arrival. The garden is a common area that we share with our guests. It is therefore possible that we will meet during your stay, especially in the outdoor areas. We obviously respect the privacy and tranquility of our guests. However, we cannot guarantee that you will not encounter the owners during your stay. If you are looking for a place where the owners are completely absent and where you are unlikely to run into them, we prefer to let you know before you book so that you can choose a place that better meets your expectations. Animals We hope you like animals, as our animals also enjoy the shared garden. If their presence is an inconvenience for you, please let us know so that we can be particularly attentive during your stay. Guests with pets are welcome, but we ask you to let us know about their presence and number before booking so that we can discuss the arrangements for the stay together. The property can accommodate a maximum of 2 dogs per stay. A higher number cannot be accepted without our prior agreement. This rule allows us to maintain the comfort of everyone, including our own animals, our guests, and the people living on the property. Garden and outside You can enjoy the outdoors, weather permitting, thanks to a table and garden chairs. Sun loungers can also be provided upon request. We have a large trampoline and swings that your children can use under the supervision and responsibility of their parents. A badminton net and a ping pong table can also be provided in the garden. Please feel free to ask us for what you need to enjoy it. There is a pond near the accommodation. Special care is therefore required if you are staying with young children. The use of the exterior staircase providing access to the attic is prohibited. Parking on the lawn is not allowed. Thank you. Restaurants & Delivery There are a few restaurants around the accommodation. We can of course recommend good places if you wish. Delivery platforms such as Uber Eats do not deliver to our home, but some restaurants in Marines may sometimes offer their own delivery service. Starter kit We provide you with a small starter kit suitable for the duration of your stay: A washable and reusable sponge. Please do not throw it away. pods for the dishwasher; a dish towel; tea bags; sugar; a few coffee capsules. In the bathroom, which has a walk-in shower, towels will be provided for you on the dresser in the bedroom. Each person will have a large towel, a small towel and a washcloth. Please use only what you need and leave the clean, unused linens on the dresser. Play & Recreation Board games as well as some games suitable for young children are available in the accommodation to enhance your stay. Thank you for taking care of it so that future guests can also enjoy it. Suggestions for outings and sightseeing tours are available in the drawer of the TV stand. We are, of course, available to offer advice and provide additional information if needed. Netflix We have provided a Netflix account specifically for our guests. Please use only the "La Parenthèse" profile and do not change the configured settings. Some important details before your booking We do our best to accommodate our guests and make their stay as pleasant as possible. In return, we kindly ask that you read the information above before booking. They are intended to let you know exactly what to expect during your stay with us. Our accommodation is in a family environment; we live on site and share some outdoor spaces with our guests. The possible presence of our pets, especially in the garden, is also part of the house's living environment. If you are looking for completely independent accommodation, without the presence of the owners and without a shared outdoor space, we encourage you to choose a place to stay that is more suited to this type of stay. Cheers Patrick, Éric, and Caroline Guest access Guests have access to the entire rented space. The garden is a common area, except for the patio adjacent to our house. You have access to the rest of the garden and the small wooded area if you wish to visit. Our dog may also be there and enjoy the garden. We simply make sure that encounters between dogs and guests go as smoothly as possible. You have your own private space around your accommodation, but it is naturally possible that we will cross paths during your stay, especially in the garden. If you are looking for a place where the owners are completely absent and where no encounters are possible, this place will probably not meet your expectations. Other things to note We are a family of five: Caroline and Éric, with our two children. We also live with Patrick, Caroline's father, who is our co-host and is very often at the house. We love meeting and interacting with people, and for my part, I place a lot of importance on communicating with our guests. I remain readily available before and during your stay to answer any questions you may have, help you prepare for your arrival, or simply provide information if you need anything. We always try our best to be attentive to our guests and adapt to their needs, while of course respecting their privacy and peace. As we live on site, it is therefore possible that you may come across us during your stay, especially in the common areas. This is part of how our accommodation operates, and we prefer to make it clear so that everyone can book with full knowledge of the facts.
