Cloud Hill Cottage is located in the heart of the village with beautiful views to the front. Guiting Power is in the heart of the Cotswold hills in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty between Cheltenham and Stow on-the-Wold. This beautiful village includes the Old Post Office, The Cotswold Guy Farmshop, The Hollow Bottom - perfect for a staycation! Great location for Cheltenham Races. Brilliantly located for foodies, walkers, race goers alike! The space As you can see from the photographs this is a inviting, traditional and cosy Cotswold Cottage. Guests also have the option of using the Cloud Hill Studio as an additional double bedroom/ensuite. This will allow the house up to sleep 6/7. Location: 25 minutes drive to Cheltenham Spa Railway Station 19 minutes drive to Cheltenham (Races; Literature Festival & Jazz Festival) 14 minutes drive to Cleeve Hill Golf Club & Common (Fantastic Views & Walks) 10 minute drive to Winchcombe (Sudeley Castle) 8 minute drive to Cotswold Farm Park Walks: The Guiting Power Circular Walk is a great route in the centre of The Cotswolds AONB that will produce some lovely views of the surrounding countryside. While out walking, you will make your way across rolling hills and through tranquil stretches of woodland terrain to pass through the village of Kineton on the return to Guiting Power. The relatively laid back terrain and charming views make this a superb adventure. Private Chef Service Available: If you are looking for a break from eating out and/or cooking and want us to take care of the cooking, we can certainly do that! Eddy and his team from Fade Projects can create/cater for a totally unique dining experience up to 6 guests. Enjoy flavourful food, cooked over coals for an intimate dinner party at Cloud Hill Cottage. This experience includes premium seasonal produce from local growers, farmers and artisan producers being cooked on a Big Green Egg and hosted/served by Eddy’s partner Annie. Eddy also offers will teach you to apply six different cooking techniques; reverse searing, searing on a variety of surfaces, cooking dirty, plancha cooking, baking and pan cooking. The class is ideal for one to two people, and there will be plenty of food to share with some friends at the end of the day. Designed to leave you with the confidence to light, maintain and cook a variety of simple and delicious recipes on your Big Green Egg, from the comfort of the cottage. The class will start at 10am and will run until 4pm – in this time you will cover 8 different dishes. If interested please let me know at your earliest convenience to secure booking and requirements. Guest access Please make Cloud Hill Cottage feel like your home away from home. Please use the garden and patio area. If you have any dogs with you, please ensure to pick/up and clean up any mess. Thank you. Please treat it as you would treat your own home - it is a great space. The summer house is currently used for storage but we have plans to change this in Spring/Summer 2024. Other things to note The main cottage comfortably sleeps 4 or 5 people (2 rooms with king beds & 1 room with a single/day bed). Cloud Hill Cottage has the ability to sleep 7. Please let me if you would like to have access to the annexe (Cloud Hill Studio) and we can make this up for you also.
