Welcome to Vineyards on Victoria in Hout Bay, just 20 outside Cape Town. Nestled on a private vineyard, our old manor house welcomes you with its timeless allure. Offering one spacious bedroom and another smaller room on the first/ground floor, it is surrounded by breathtaking views. This is the perfect haven whether you're seeking a family escape or a productive workcation. There is a large shared pool, a private wine cellar, and you're only a short drive to the beach! The space Our property is hidden away on a hillside in Hout Bay, less than a 5-minute drive from the beach. The property is easily accessible by car and public transport. Shops and restaurants in Hout Bay are just a 2-minute drive down the road. Restaurants in Camps Bay and wineries in Constantia are a mere 15-minute drive away. There may be other guests on site and in the lofts during your stay, but the ground floor and patios are reserved for you if you book the space. Entrances are separate. There is gas braai area at the pool for all guests to share. Guest access The entire ground floor of the thatch home, and outside patio areas. Loft guests have a separate entrance and are not allowed access to any rooms or spaces that you've booked, except for the shared pool area. Other things to note WATER & ELECTRICITY: We have our own water and solar power, so electricity outages (loadshedding) and water trouble in Hout Bay will not affect our guests. WI-FI We offer fast and reliable AC/N Wi-Fi across the entire property (indoors and outdoors). LAUNDRY SERVICE Guests are welcome to use our laundry service during the week. Our cleaner can do your laundry for you on her allocates days or you can DIY in the laundry shed behind the cottage. CLEANING A cleaner is available as part of the fee. Cleaning days will be confirmed upon arrival. PARKING We offer 4 free and secure parking spots per booking. WINE CELLAR Our private wine cellar is open to guests. We offer several vintages of our very own Sauvignon Blanc. Current prices are displayed within the cellar and it operates on an honesty system. Please settle your bill on departure. 🐶 DOG-FRIENDLY STAY We’re happy to welcome well-behaved dogs and want both you and your furry companion to have a wonderful stay. To help us keep the property beautiful and comfortable for all guests, we kindly ask that you follow these guidelines: 1. Beds are for humans only. Please keep dogs off all beds at all times. 2. Indoor furniture is pet-free. Dogs are welcome to relax on outdoor seating, but we ask that indoor couches and furnishings remain pet-free. 3. The cottage is a pet-free space. We appreciate your understanding in keeping dogs outside the cottage at all times. 4. Pool time is for guests only. For hygiene and maintenance reasons, dogs are not permitted in the swimming pool. 5. Please protect the garden. Help us keep the garden looking its best by preventing digging in lawn or planted areas. 6. Clean up made easy. Kindly remove and dispose of all dog waste promptly. Please arrive prepared with your own poo bags. 7. Supervision matters.
