Welcome to Nature's Nook. Escape to our peaceful 4 season, 6 bedroom, 2 Bath Waterfront cottage on Farm Lake in Otter Lake Quebec just an hour from downtown Ottawa. Our beautiful lakefront offers stunning views giving guests the chance to relax and unwind. Jump off the dock, paddleboat around the lake, or warm up by a cozy fire, there is something for everyone! The space Our Cottage has been beautifully renovated to accompany 14 guests comfortably. The main level offers open living concept. The Living room has a cozy feel with natural wood elements, comfortable seating and wall to wall windows, bringing in natural light and views of the lake like no other. The kitchen has a large dining table to accommodate all guests followed by a fully stocked kitchen (pots, pans, dinner ware, cutlery and more) Your on vacation.. no need to do dishes! Dishwasher is available with 2 complimentary pods. For the coffee lovers there is a Keurig coffee maker with both single serve pod and carafe option. The main level also accompanies 3 bedrooms (all which include pillows and bedding) (Bedroom with a Queen bed) (Bedroom with a Double bed) (Bedroom with 2 Double beds) A full bathroom with tub, which includes guest towels and facecloths. (2 Complimentary toilet paper rolls are provided) The basement offers a large living space to kick back and relax or challenge your guests with a variety of board games, to a Nintendo Switch, or on a 9’ LED shuffleboard table! The dry bar area is sure to please! Cupboards are filled with wine and highball glasses shared by a fridge stocked with ice.. perfect for that bartender in you! Downstairs you will also find 3 additional bedrooms (all which include pillows and bedding) (Bedroom with a Queen bed) (Bedroom with a Double bed) (Bedroom with 2 Twin beds) A full bathroom with stand up glass shower, which includes guest towels and facecloths. (2 Complimentary toilet paper rolls are provided) Full Laundry area (Washer and Dryer) is available tucked nicely into the basement bathroom. (2 complimentary laundry pods are provided) Both levels have TV’s with access to Netflix, Prime and more! Unlimited complimentary High Speed WIFI is provided. Summer or winter seasons, we got you covered! We have a Generac generator installed.. worry free knowing you will never be without power ! The Outdoor area of the property showcases a huge wrap around deck with seating galore and a brand new BBQ for grilling! Down by the dock area, we have a brand new paddle boat for those adventurous guests and for those who like staying close to shore, we have a 18 foot water matt that you can jump off of or simply lay on and bask in the sun for hours. (We have 5 life jackets of various sizes that are provided) For those guests who love fishing, you came to the right spot! Farm Lake has a variety of pike, trout, pickerel bass and so much more. Outdoor games such as Washer Toss and Badminton available and are sure to bring out the summer fun! For those nights you want to relax by a fire and enjoy the stars, enjoy the large fire pit area just feet from the lake that has seating for all. A small complimentary bundle of fire wood is provided for our guests to enjoy. Additional firewood can be purchased upon request. Otter Lake offers restaurants and activities for both summer and winter months. Summer activities such as Mickey Creek Golf Course, Horion X Water Rafting, Cycloparc bicycle trail and more! Winter Activities such as Ski Vorlage, Escapade Eskimo, Echo Odyssey Adventure Park and snowmobile/ATV trails that go for days! Start making memories and let this stay be your next getaway. Guest access Guests have access to entire property. Easy keypad entry allows stress free stay. Codes are issued to guests pre arrival through text or email. The garage on site guests will not have access to and will be locked. Other things to note At the end of your stay, guests must take all used towels and place them on the basement bathroom floor. All dishes must be placed in dishwasher and run cycle before departure. Guests must ensure all food and goods are taken out of the refrigerator. Additional costs will be applied for disposal of food and or goods. Garbage must be take out and placed in the bin outside for disposal. Ensure outdoor areas are clean and tidy before departure. Additional fee will apply if property is dismantled or debris is left behind. Guests must be checked out by 11am. If guests abuse check out time A fee of $100 per hour will apply.
