Your own space in our hillside cottage

Relax amongst the fruit trees in this historic Christchurch cottage. A newly renovated living space with a country feel. Built by Lady Rutherford in the 50s this is a unique place to stay with easy access to the best Christchurch has to offer. Tucked away in the Port Hills with a spacious garden and spectacular views you'll be in for a treat whatever the reason for your visit. We look forward to welcoming you to our home, open access to ground floor of house and full access to garden. The space Our downstairs space has separate access and has its own bathroom and living area. We have a microwave, toaster and kettle with an outdoor BBQ for guests to use. You can have free range garden and are welcome to try fruit that we have grown (seasonal). We have a small dog named Whio who will be on the property, she is friendly and will say hello. Happy to answer any booking questions you may have! Guest access Upstairs is our living space and not available to guests but you have free roam of downstairs space and garden! Ground floor has separate access and we will provide details on booking. During your stay We will usually be at home, happy to answer questions in person or via phone/text/whatever works for you. Other things to note We have a small dog on the property, she is friendly and will want to say hi. If you are not keen on pets then probably book elsewhere as she has free roam of the garden. There are a number of outdoor steps to get down to the ground floor. They are well lit with sensor lights. We are more than happy to help with luggage etc if needed, please be mindful that there is no wheelchair access.
