Welcome to your next peaceful retreat. The Manoir de la Pallu is a warm and spacious family home located just 12 minutes from Caen, 15 minutes from the Memorial and 25 minutes from our beautiful Normandy beaches. This is the perfect place for your moments of relaxation with family or friends The space Spread over about 180m2, the house is ideal for 8 people (4 large bedrooms) but sleeps up to 10 people (sofa bed). She can be visited as follows: On the ground floor: - An entrance with a beautiful period stone staircase - A small cellar where a washing machine, laundry rack, ironing table and iron and second refrigerator are at your disposal, you can also store your luggage if needed. - A dining room to share convivial meals around a spacious table seating up to 10 guests, while enjoying a pleasant fireplace. - An independent kitchen equipped with an induction hob, a rotating heat oven, a dishwasher, a refrigerator with a freezer, a microwave oven, an electric kettle, a toaster and a filter coffee maker - A separate toilet -A first bedroom equipped with a double bed 160cm as well as a wardrobe to store your clothes. -A shower room equipped with walk in shower, sink and toilet. A first independent staircase provides access to: - A second bedroom equipped with a double bed 160cm as well as storage. - A third bedroom equipped with a double bed 160cm, a small dressing room and a desk. In the heart of the Manoir, the magnificent period stone staircase allows you to enjoy two other different spaces on the first floor: On the right side of the landing: this is a small apartment within the Manor. This space, which can be likened to a master suite, promises you a real space of tranquility and independence. It features: - a living area equipped with a TV, a small kitchen and a sofa bed (with a very cozy mattress topper, allowing the 9th and 10th additional beds), . - a sleeping area where the double bed 160cm faces a most romantic bathtub to enjoy a hanging moment and relax. This room has a private shower room with vanity and toilet. On the left side of the landing on this floor, you will enjoy the Grand Salon, the centerpiece of this residence. This one is equipped with a majestic Billiards, a large TV screen, two large sofas and armchairs around a beautiful fireplace allowing you to share unforgettable moments. You will have access in this 47m2 space; to many books and board games, a small sink, with a kettle and a Nespresso coffee maker to enjoy these moments more. Everything is overlooked by a beautiful library full of history. A toilet is accessible in this living room. You will appreciate the charm and soul of this exceptional place with neat decoration, which promises you a real feeling of serenity , conviviality and well-being. The outdoor spaces of the manor allow you to enjoy the calm of the place and to eat your meals outside around our forest tables. A barbecue is also available to you. You can park your vehicles for free in the courtyard of the Manor. For your baby, we can provide a single cot upon request. All linens, hand towels, bath mats, dish towels, toilet paper and garbage bags are provided. We also put at your disposal to facilitate the beginning of your stay the dishwashing product, dishwasher tablets, laundry detergent but also coffee, coffee filter, tea, sugar, flour, salt, pepper and olive oil. Shower products are to be provided by you depending on the length of your stay. I look forward to welcoming you and being part of your lovely Norman memories. Guest access You will have access to the whole house. The pretty lawn in front of the Manoir will allow you to enjoy the very quiet outside of the place. The workshop and attic are, however, private spaces that are not accessible. The estate is currently renovating another part of its outdoor spaces. Other things to note The estate covers one hectare and is in the heart of the village of Vieux. It consists of the Manor with its outdoor space, a large barn, outdoor spaces under renovation and another beautiful stone building that we live in year-round with my children and husband.
