There is also a train station in the town which offers a regular train service to Glasgow, Edinburgh and further afield. It is a really lovely space to sit out and on an evening to enjoy the dark skies and star gaze with a glass of wine while snuggled under a cosy blanket in front of the roaring firepit. The area is a haven with birds and wildlife and there is another garden area to enjoy. This is shared with lovely mature trees, seating, lawn and bird feeders. It is a great place to just relax and listen to the birds. In the surrounding fields you can see the free rang chickens, sheep and horse roam.
