Come relax at our one-of-a-kind firehouse studio apartment. This simple but charming stay is sure to please. Just 20 minutes from Saratoga Springs, 12 minutes from Ballston Spa, 15 minutes from Clifton Park, 8 minutes from Schenectady, and 25 minutes from the Albany Airport. We are centrally located to both Saratoga Springs and Albany. This studio apartment is a 2nd floor apartment and there are a flight of indoor stairs to climb. The space This 2nd floor cozy space has just the right mix of comfort and functionality. The kitchenette boasts of a toaster oven, microwave, hot plate, blender, toaster, coffee maker, instant pot and refrigerator. Watch TV from the full size bed or from the love seat. Wi-fi is available as well as local channels and Amazon Fire TV. Even though this old fire house has been around 100 years, it has been fully updated and does not have any musty, old building smell. An air purifier is in the apartment as well as a fan to make your stay comfortable during warmer summer months. Guest access Parking is around the rear of the building. The driveway is a mixture of grass and gravel, north of the station. Access is through the main rear door, underneath the fire escape stairs. You'll find a small area just inside the door for shoes and coats. The interior 2nd floor stairs has handrails. Other things to note Walk across the rear parking lot and find an enchanting coffee and crepe shop. Always a favorite among the locals, The Archive is reasonably priced and the location is so convenient to Kingsley Station. If you’re up for a short walk (1/4 mile), head south on Kingsley, past the hardware store and the Baptist church and you’ll find another local favorite, Fo’Castle Country Store. Lunch is served and their Apple Cider Doughnuts are some of the best in the capital district! Looking for dinner? Check out El Patron II (Mexican food) just 1/4 mile north of Kingsley Road located on Route 50. We wouldn’t suggest walking though. The dinner hours a busy one on Route 50 so driving is probably best. No smoking or vaping.
