Hideaway Cabin

The Hideaway cabin is a beautifully renovated cabin with 2 bedrooms and one full bath, fully stocked kitchen, central air, screen porched, deck, private bon fire pit and dock. The space Along the serene shores of Lake Whiplash, you’ll find the charming Whiplash Retreat, an ideal destination for your Wisconsin vacation. Whiplash welcomes all kinds of travelers to enjoy the relaxing natural atmosphere and comfortable lodging. When you're not relaxing indoors, venture out to the sandy beach, enjoy the views from the deck off of the beautiful boathouse, cast your line into the fully stocked lake, or explore the resort's 500+ acre property. There are a few pontoons for our guests to use as they wish along with kayaks and a couple of paddle boards. Miles of hiking and biking trails are available, and in the winter, there's designated skiing trails as well. There's no place better than this for your Wisconsin vacation! Each cabin presents its own unique atmosphere and magnificent views of towering pines and Whiplash Lake. Relax and enjoy in true secluded style as Whiplash is completely isolated within its 550+ acres from neighboring homes or resorts. Whiplash has its own 32 acre lake that only those visiting our retreat have access too. We also have lake shore access on Spikder Lake where guests of ours like to park their boats. Guest access - Boathouse - Pontoons - Kayaks - Paddle Boards - Beach Fire Pit - Hiking Trails Other things to note • You do not need to check in or out with anyone. Check in is 3pm and check out is 9am. The cabin is open, and this is your personal cabin in the Northwoods for your duration. Make yourselves comfy and at home. Keys will be in the cabin, and you must leave them there upon departing. • If you need assistance during your stay, please call our Property Manager. • ALL dishes need to stay in their cabin along with furniture. If anything leaves the cabin it needs to be brought back. Each cabin has 12 each of silverware utensils, mugs, plates, bowls, and salad plates. • Smoking is not allowed inside of the cabins. • The mini pontoons are available for Whiplash guests. Please be courteous of all other guests and their desire to use the pontoons. • If you decide to use a boat, please clean it out when you are finished and park it back at the boathouse or at your dock if it’s a fishing boat. Do not park the mini pontoon boats at your cabin. • Pontoons are filled with gas and there is no additional charge for fuel. If you find a pontoon that needs gas, please call the property manager. • ONLY worms or artificial bait are allowed for fishing in Whiplash Lake. You may keep your limit of fish caught. There is a fish cleaning table located outside of each cabin. • It’s important that you communicate your number of cabin guests and if there are any changes to this during your stay (any persons over the count of 8, 10 years and older) including pets. This will need to be shared with Amy prior to settling your invoice. • There should be no ski waxing inside the living areas of the cabins. • Pets are allowed, for an additional fee, and all poop needs to be picked up and thrown away. • If you need more firewood help yourself as the property is full of it! There should also be some split wood in the woodshed across from the garage. • Hayward Power Sports has recreational equipment for rent such as pontoons, personal watercrafts, ATV’s, Side by Sides (UTV’s), snowmobiles and more. The ATV’s, UTV’s and snowmobiles can be used on surrounding marked trails. Any rented water toys can be used on Spider Lake and other surrounding lakes if you would like to venture out! Delivery is available through HPS (Hayward Power Sports). Don’t forget to mention that you are a guest at Whiplash when reserving a rental item. • We understand the need to connect with the outside world and each cabin has WIFI. If faster service is needed, we offer that for an additional charge of $30/day. • Most importantly, have fun, relax, and enjoy! *ALL guests 18 years and older will need to sign our liability waivers that we will email you after your booking.
