Rustic 4-bed/2 bath cabin in unique and family-friendly 5-acre private lakefront community on Candlewood Lake in New Milford, CT. Paradise for kids who can spend full days outdoors - running freely by themselves - and with their families enjoy the lakefront property for swimming, boating, fishing, floating, sunning, baseball, basketball, ping pong, bonfires, s’mores, and more. A magical community, reminiscent of a bygone era, with a total of 12 cabins, for families and kids of all ages. The space Lakefront is a 30-second walk -- no shoes required -- from the cabin. -4 bedrooms (3 queen beds; 1 bunk room with 4 single beds) and 2 bathrooms (each with a standing shower). Can comfortably sleep 2 families, or 4-6 adults and 4-6 kids. -Fully equipped large kitchen (no dishwasher or washing machine, however) with oven, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, fridge/freezer, clothes dryer). Communal washing machine and laundry lines if preferred are steps from the cabin. -Screened-in porch with dining table. -Large living area with L-shaped sofa and flatscreen TV. -Cozy light-filled sunroom 'around the corner' from living room, looks out onto the lush trees and surrounding woods with super comfy down couch. -Indoor dining table + small outdoor deck with picnic table. -2 full bathrooms with showers A shared community washhouse with large-capacity washing machine and laundry lines are steps away. If you prefer to dry clothes in a machine, we have one in the kitchen. Large baseball field with ping-pong table, children's swing set, playhouse and play space, and basketball hoop all steps from the cabin. Firepit is available for 'smores and singalongs. Guest access In addition to the cabin, guests will enjoy access to the entire property, including the lakefront with a large deck, small sandy beach, floating raft, and a dock for casual fishing or sunning.
