Deluxe Room in the Cotswolds

Welcome to our comfortable home on the edge of lovely Lechlade-on-Thames, ideally located to explore traditional villages and attractions within the beautiful Cotswolds (AONB) such as Burford, Bibury, Bourton-on-the-Water, Daylesford and Clarkson’s Farm, along with Fairford for the RIAT international airshow held each July. Blenheim Palace & Oxford are only 40 minutes. Silverstone is approximately 1 hour away. Cotswold Wildlife Park and Cotswold Water Park are both nearby. The space The large bedroom is within our family home, accessed through stairs, has its own en-suite shower room and toilet, and one king-sized bed with luxury bedding, with a choice of either feather or anti-allergy duvet. The room will accommodate a travel cot (you would need to provide). The en-suite shower room is private to the bedroom with fluffy towels, soap, shampoo etc. Tea and coffee (Nespresso machine with pods & kettle), fresh milk and biscuits, along with filtered cooled water are all supplied in your room. There is plenty of wardrobe & drawer space. A Dyson Cool fan is also provided. Parking is available on our driveway with gates, free BT wi-fi and Freeview TV. Although we do NOT provide breakfast or use of kitchen with this booking, Lechlade has several places to eat breakfast to suit all tastes, Lynwood coffee shop, Crampi for Italian coffee & delicious pastries, both near the Market Place and The Riverside Pub beside The Thames river, are only a short walk of our home. Lechlade has various options within the High Street for lunch/evening meals, New Wave restaurant, Khushi Indian, and The Riverside Pub. Within a short drive of the town are several highly rated gastro pubs including The Bell at Langford, the Ox Barn & The Swan Inn at Thyme in Southrup , The Double Red Duke at Clanfield, and The Farmer’s Dog , Jeremy Clarkson’s new pub at Asthall Burford. Guest access One of us will always be there to greet you and offer advice if required on the facilities and area. During your stay We have a very friendly English Springer Spaniel at home. Other things to note Lechlade is easy to travel to by car between M4 and A40, only 10 miles from Swindon train station. There are bus services between Witney, Cirencester and Highworth/Swindon.
