"La Mechta" forest cabin

Who has never dreamed of living in a cabin in the middle of the forest to play at being adventurers? We renovated this cabin in order to make you enjoy our unusual accommodation in the middle of the forest. Alone, with friends or family, La Mechta promises you an unprecedented adventure. It will connect you to nature while ensuring simple and cozy comfort. The space Welcome to our refuge in the heart of nature. Our charming tree house is nestled among the trees of the forest and opposite a beautiful fallow field. Here, you will be in total escape that will allow you to recharge your batteries and connect with nature. The mechta was completely renovated by us during the years 2023-2024. Here, you will find a beautiful spacious 15 m² living room furnished mainly with a sofa bed (2nd bed), an equipped kitchen and a wood stove. A cozy mezzanine under the roof will lead you to the main bed (140) offering a unique view of nature. You can take advantage of the catamaran net to possibly read our books available. Cleaning and beds are made before your arrival. There is everything you need to prepare your meals. The kitchen is equipped with a 2-burner stove, fridge, sink, dishes, utensils and cutlery. A folding table and chairs are in the living room for indoor dining. Dishes must be done and put away before checkout. A large barbecue is also available for great grilling! You'll have the option to have a campfire-style barbecue on the ground for a unique and friendly moment (unless prohibited in case of drought). The toilet, shower and bathroom area is adjacent to the cabin and the entrance is from the outside. You will find dry toilets whose waste bags will be put in a garbage can provided for this purpose at the end of each stay, a shower with hot water and a sink to guarantee a minimum of comfort. Bath linens are provided for a minimum of 4 nights. The mechta is heated by a wood-burning stove and logs are available. The cabin produces its own electricity through solar panels, therefore it cannot power energy-intensive appliances (hair dryer, coffee maker, kettle, etc.). A pétanque court is available to you, as well as a large outdoor table, hammocks, a swing, badminton rackets and deckchairs for a peaceful stay. For a deep connection with nature, country walks are there, all around you, just by opening the door. You will find the paragliding ground overlooking and offering a magnificent view of Bologna and its districts as well as the chapel of Saint Bologna. Pets are welcome if they are clean and quiet indoors. Provide a basket or blanket if they are inclined to climb on the sofa. Dog waste must be collected before checkout. Parties are not allowed.
