The teachers' room

Whether for one night or a longer vacation, our newly renovated guest room in the old village school, which we have been renovating for three years, offers plenty of space! Surrounded by a large garden, our school is quietly located on the edge of the village and offers beautiful views of the forest while being only 10 minutes from the A3 highway. The comfortable room with balcony and private bathroom (with shower tray) looks forward to hosting you! The space Comfortable and bright guest room on the first floor with a large double bed (180 x 200), private bathroom with daylight, small desk and view of the greenery. A small capsule coffee machine is available to wake up, as well as a private balcony to enjoy morning coffee with a view and plenty of calm. The ensuite bathroom to relax after a busy day has a bath-shower, sink, toilet and plenty of storage space. The room can accommodate two guests and possibly a toddler – if traveling with a child, we are happy to provide, if necessary, a crib (140 x 70) that can be placed next to the double bed. The large balcony overlooking the old cherry tree is ideal for having breakfast or working undisturbed, and a small forest path starts right in front of the house. Those who wish can cycle through the forest and pick up fresh rolls in the next village. Guest access Parking is available directly in the old gravel schoolyard in front of the house. The room is on the first floor and is accessible by the common staircase, which we also use with our children (10 and 6 years old) to access our bedrooms on the second floor. Apart from the occasional creaking of the stairs (old house) or the occasional noise from children during the day, you are quiet there (our parents' bedroom is above the guest room, no children's room) and you live alone on the first floor (our vacation apartment will be built there in the future, only the guest room is currently finished). The large balcony and bathroom are at your disposal. Other things to note In the immediate vicinity, there are many leisure activities such as hiking, swimming, the zoo, etc. as well as opportunities for excursions, for example to the Stöfflpark or the Kletterwald, but also to museums, theaters, restaurants, on the Rhine, canoeing, etc. in Hachenburg, Limburg, Neuwied, Koblenz or Bonn. Bad Ems thermal baths are about 40 minutes away. Hiking brochures and ideas for excursions are available in the guest room, we will be happy to advise you if you are interested. For book lovers, we have provided a small selection of books to comfortably flip through in the guest room. For younger guests, we provide games/puzzles, picture books, Bobbycars, etc. on request.
