The teachers' room

Whether for one night or a longer holiday - our newly renovated guest room in the old village school, which we have been lovingly renovating for three years, offers plenty of space to relax! Surrounded by a large garden, our schoolhouse is quietly located on the edge of the village, offers a beautiful view of the forest and is still only 10 minutes away from the A3 motorway. The cosy room with balcony and private bathroom (with shower tray) is looking forward to welcoming you! The space Cosy, bright guest room on the first floor with large double bed (180x200), private daylight bathroom, small workstation and view of the greenery. There is a small capsule coffee machine to wake you up and a private balcony to enjoy your morning coffee with a view and plenty of peace and quiet. The en-suite bathroom for relaxing after an eventful day offers a shower/bathtub, washbasin, toilet and plenty of storage space. The room is suitable for two guests and possibly a small child - if travelling with a child, we are happy to provide a cot (140x70) next to the double bed if required. The large balcony with a view of the old cherry tree is perfect for breakfast or working without disturbance and a small forest path starts directly at the house. If you like, you can cross the forest by bike and get fresh bread rolls in the next village. Guest access Parking is possible directly on the former gravelled schoolyard in front of the house. The room is on the first floor and is accessed via the shared staircase, which we also use with our children (aged 10 and 6) to get to our bedrooms on the second floor. Apart from the occasional squeaking of the stairs (old house) or the occasional pitter-patter of children during the day, you will have your peace and quiet there (our parents' bedroom is above the guest room, not a children's room) and you will occupy the first floor alone (our holiday flat is to be built there in the future, at the moment only the guest room has been completed). The large balcony and the bathroom are for your exclusive use. Other things to note There are numerous leisure activities in the surrounding area such as hiking, swimming, zoo etc. as well as excursions to the Stöfflpark or climbing forest, for example, but also to museums, theatres, restaurants, Rhine shipping, canoeing and much more in Hachenburg, Limburg, Neuwied, Koblenz or Bonn. The Bad Ems thermal baths are approx. 40 minutes away. Hiking brochures and excursion tips are available in the guest room, we will be happy to advise you if you are interested. For bookworms, we have a small selection of books for cosy browsing in the guest room. On request, we can provide games/puzzles, picture books, bobby cars etc. for younger guests.
