The space While here, stroll along the stone walkways of the landscaped garden, soak in the idyllic views from the balcony, venture out on treks and trails and end the day with a blissful night under the stars. From here you can also visit the ever-famous Shiv Mandir of Chail. Indeed a tranquil hideaway, this vintage hillside chalet offers solace and soulful experiences away from the urban cacophony. Woodrose Estate is special because of its: - Scenic location in the midst of the evergreen hues of the canopy of Deodar trees - 360-degree views of the Chur Chandni range - Landscaped garden - Tastefully furnished wooden and antique interiors - Cosy sit-out spaces and balconies that offer quite the enviable backdrop - Abundance of treks and trails around the property - Proximity to Chail’s famous tourist attractions BEDROOMS - Through the winding roads of the hilly terrains laden with pine and deodar trees on both sides, this vintage woodside chalet is home to 4 elegantly designed bedrooms - 1 on the ground floor and 3 on the first floor. - All bedrooms are equipped with a range of amenities such as a heater, unending views of the forest and hills, and attached bathrooms. - All rooms have double-sized beds. - Please note that there are a total of 4 bedrooms. BATHROOMS - There are 3 bathrooms in the villa - Two attached and one common. - All bathrooms have geysers, towels, and basic toiletries. - 1 bathroom has a separate dressing area is offered in one of the bathrooms. COMMON AREAS - There are 2 living rooms - 1 on the ground floor and 1 on the first floor. - The living room on the ground floor can seat up to 8 people and is equipped with a heater and Wi-Fi dongle. - The living room on the first floor can seat up to 8 people and is equipped with a heater, TV, and Wi-Fi dongle. - There is a separate dining room on the ground floor. It offers seating for up to 6 people. - There is a common balcony on the ground floor overlooking stunning views. - There is a conservatory on the ground floor. - There are two beautifully landscaped lawns with stone walking paths. - They are 1500 sq. ft. and 1200 sq. ft. in size and can seat 24 and 15 people respectively. KITCHEN - Guests have access to the kitchen only for reheating purposes. - The kitchen has a microwave, water purifier, crockery, and cutlery. FOOD - Breakfast can be provided at an additional charge of Rs. 350. - Vegetarian main course can be provided at an additional charge of Rs. 450 - Non-vegetarian main course without Mutton can be provided at an additional charge of Rs. 600. - Non-vegetarian main course with Mutton can be provided at an additional charge of Rs. 650. - Chinese main course can be provided at an additional charge of Rs. 650. - Guests are requested to adhere to the meal timings. - Please note that the menu selection will be the same for all the guests of the same group. - All meals will be served in the dining area as there is no room service available at the property. - If booked for 7 or more nights, a chef can be arranged at an additional cost of Rs. 2500 per day. Ingredients will be charged as per actuals. - Consumption of non-vegetarian food is allowed. Guest access The guests have access to their rooms and common areas except for the kitchen. Please note that there are a total of 4 bedrooms. Other things to note STAFF ACCOMMODATION We can provide accommodation for your personal staff at an additional cost of Rs.1000 per person, per day, inclusive of meal charges. The female staff can be accommodated in-house, however, the male staff will be accommodated outhouse. ACTIVITIES Within the property, guests can play indoor games like cards and ludo. Guests can take a peaceful walk on the lawn and soak in the beautiful views around. They can lounge in the conservatory, relish a barbecue meal, or request for a bonfire to be lit up. There are various treks and trails around the property for guests to explore their adventurous side. There is another trek that leads from the property to the ever-famous Shiv Mandir of Chail. ADDITIONAL COSTS - Vegetarian barbecue meals can be provided at an additional cost of Rs. 1500. - Non-vegetarian barbecue meals can be provided at an additional charge of Rs. 1700. The requirement for the same needs to be conveyed 24 hours prior to the check-in. - A bonfire can be arranged at an additional cost of Rs. 1000 per bundle. - Prices may vary subject to availability and peak season rates. HOME TRUTHS While we do promise you a welcoming home and a great stay, here are a few things we’d like to mention so as to ensure there are no unpleasant surprises later! - Please note that there are a total of 4 bedrooms. - All-male groups are not allowed. - During the monsoon season, the house may be prone to common bugs and insects. As a preventive measure, please keep the bedroom doors shut during your stay. - The location of the villa is secluded. - Loud music is not allowed post 10:30 PM. - In case of a power outage, the inverter can support all lights for up to 6 hours. - The caretaker stays on the premises of the same property. - All mobile networks do not work fairly well here. -Abusive or threatening behavior towards staff will not be tolerated under any circumstances. Guests who exhibit such behavior will be asked to leave immediately without a refund.
