House with lavender fields

This beautiful house is located 5 minutes by car from one of the most beautiful villages in the Luberon, Bonnieux. The bridge was part of the Via Domitia. The house has an area of 150 m², 3 separate bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen, a living room, a large living room of about 60 m² with a mezzanine on which there is a living room and a TV. The house is furnished in a country style and well-equipped. It is located on a small, quiet road and has a wonderful view of Bonnieux, Lacoste and is surrounded by lavender fields. In the back garden, nestled in a setting of rocks and vast lawns, is the new 8-meter by 4-meter heated swimming pool Surrounding area You live 1 km from the famous Pont Julien, one of the best preserved Roman bridges in France. Today, the Cavalon bike route, popular with cyclists and hikers, passes over the bridge. Other important sites are the ocher quarries of Roussillon (5 km) as well as the Château du Marquis de Sade in Lacoste (4 km). Garden and grounds The house is on a small, quiet road that leads to the village of Bonnieux. In front of the house is a first large garden with magnificent views of Bonnieux, Lacoste and large lavender fields (see photos of the land to the north with Mt Ventoux, west with Lacoste, south and east). In the shade of a plane tree, you can have breakfast. On the other side of the house and out of sight, you will find a garden with an old olive tree, a saltwater pool (8 x 4 m, depth 1.50 m, heated in mid-season) and a large covered terrace. A decor of wooded rocks, partly ocher, and a stone wall surround the back garden. The property Charming Provencal stone bastide Ground floor The ground floor consists of a small dining room located right next to the fully equipped kitchen. On this level there is also a large bright living room with a high ceiling and a beautiful fireplace, a dining table for 6 people and a comfortable leather sofa. Each room is separated by 1 or 2 steps. Part of the living room spans a mezzanine with a sofa and armchair, TV and Blue Ray player. 1st floor Going up the main staircase at the entrance, there is a bedroom with a double bed on the right and left. In front of the staircase is the shared bathroom (bathtub and toilet). From the middle bedroom on the left, an optional passage leads to the third bedroom, which can also be reached separately by the staircase leading to the mezzanine and which is equipped with a bathroom (shower and toilet).
