In this atmospheric and peaceful log cabin, it is easy to relax away from the hustle and bustle of the cities, on the shore of the lake, in the middle of a beautiful ancient forest. You can enjoy the authentic Lappish atmosphere and nature on the shores of the lake all year round. The cottage has just been completed with a wood sauna and a composting clean outdoor toilet. The cabin is heated with wood and a diesel heater. Water from the lake for sauna, washing and dishwashing. The property is conveniently located close to the main road and the cottage yard is accessible by car The space The cottage is a modern wilderness cottage. There are two bunk beds with good mattresses and one extendable sofa bed with sleeping places for two. Firewood is included in the price of the stay. We can warm up the cottage for guests with the help of the heater there, if agreed in time. The cottage's living area is about 26 square meters. The toilet is a cold space, which is accessed from the terrace. Blankets and pillows are included. Blackout curtains on the windows so you can sleep even during the nightless night. The cottage is powered by solar panels in the summer. The cabin has a lamp, TV, gas stove and fridge. The equipment also includes dishes, pots and pans. Food can also be cooked in the baking oven section of the fireplace. At the end of the day, you can relax in the good soft sauna and admire the beach landscape. Recommended to bring your own drinking water. We can supply drinking water in canisters by prior arrangement. So please note that the cottage does not have running water. In the summer, the water can be lifted from the well. In winter, only carrying water from the lake. There is no big lighting near the cabin, so it is a great place to watch the starry sky and the northern lights. The cottage is great for nature and outdoor activities like fishing, berry picking, and hunting. Good boating and fishing spots like Nitsijärvi and Lake Inari are nearby. The cottage is also a great base for small trips to Norway, including Neiden, Kirkenes, Pykeija, and Grenseakobselva. Also close to Sevettijärvi and Näätämö. Husky dog tours are also available from the village. Also great for families with children. The cottage is near the river Tsiutta that goes down to Lake Inari. The distance to Lake Inari is about 2km as the crow flies and the Partako boat launch site is about 4km. Please note that the solar capacity is directly proportional to the amount of sunlight and does not work in the winter. Water in winter from the lake, in spring, summer and autumn the water rises from the well to the sauna. To get water, you have to saw a hole in the ice. The cottage has an outdoor composting toilet, which is accessed from the terrace. So, the toilet is a cold space.
