Wake rejuvenated in the bright bedrooms and take your morning coffee to the large decking area, listening to the hum of the wildlife and early birdsong. In the evenings, fire up the BBQ and/ or the outside wood burner with cooking facilities to enjoy a spot of al fresco dining as the children and dogs play on the lawn. Or relax and star gaze in the newly fitted wood fired hot tub. Find a shop/post office and pub in Challacombe village (1 mile) and follow the footpath through ancient woodland to its lovely little church. Enjoy the sandy beaches on Devon’s north coast, including Woolacombe (16 miles), Saunton (20 miles) and Croyde (19 miles), or follow the South West Coast Path to discover hidden coves and the little of villages of Combe Martin (8 miles), Lynton and Lynmouth (both 11 miles). Try paddleboarding, coasteering, surfing and kayaking with Active Escape (10.5 miles) while family days out can be had at Exmoor Zoo (3 miles) and Watermouth Castle (11 miles) with its family-friendly attractions.
