With a screened-in porch, deck, basement, and loft, there’s room for everyone to spread out and enjoy the tranquility of Locust Lake Village. In the winter, cozy up by our two wood stoves after a day of skiing at nearby Jack Frost, Big Boulder or Camelback. In the summer, take advantage of the three community lakes with beaches, playgrounds for the kids, volleyball courts, and more. The space The first floor contains our game room with woodburning stove. The whole family can enjoy the pool table, which can be quickly converted to a ping pong table for the kids. A projector with Chromecast is set up so that you can stream movies, videos, or TV from your phone or laptop. There is a mini fridge and wet bar for your convenience. The futon can be converted into a full size bed if extra sleeping space is needed. Laundry is located on this level. Upstairs on the main level is the kitchen, dining room, and living area. We keep a well-stocked kitchen so that you can easily enjoy a cozy meal without having to venture out. The living room contains the second wood-burning stove and a smart TV. The primary bedroom is located on this floor, right across from a bath with shower. Off this level are the deck and screened in porch, perfect for enjoying a meal or your morning coffee. On the upper level you will find two more bedrooms, a full bath, and the spacious loft. One upstairs bedroom has a queen bed, and the other has a full bed and twin bunk beds. The loft contains a sleeper sofa and a daybed with trundle. This space includes a second smart TV. This TV also has Blu-ray/VCR capability and is a great place for the kids to watch a movie! A pack 'n play with changing table attachment is available for families with a little one. Renters have access to Locust Lake's three lakes with beaches, ski hill, and chalet for arts and crafts and other activities. The hill includes a t-bar ski lift and is a great place for beginner skiers. Renters must be 25+ to rent in Locust Lake Village. As this is our family home, no parties or events, and no smoking, please. Our private community is subject to local laws and regulations. If Tobyhanna Township puts a “burn ban” in place due to drought conditions, guests will not be able to use the outdoor firepit.
