Kick back and relax in this calm, family friendly space whether it’s for fun or work. You will discover a new experience…fresh air, a beautiful hardwood forest, a small private lake, so quiet and peaceful with wildlife surrounding you, and of course, cardinals! You will be inside a gated community with private parking, a campfire area and a canoe. You may fish in the lake in front of the guest house, but it is strictly “catch and release”. Newly constructed. Now ready for guests! The space This is a newly constructed well lit log cabin style guest house. It features a living area with a queen sofa sleeper with memory foam that contours around your shape – and remembers it. There is also a full kitchen, a bathroom with a shower, and a king size bed with a Revive Bali hybrid 10 inch mattress, combination of innersprings and memory foam which deliver the best of both comfort and support. The night stands in the bedroom have USB plugs to charge your phones. There are 9 foot ceilings which makes the rooms feel larger than normal with elegant black out drapes to block out sun and noise for your restful night of sleep. Enjoy the deck right outside your door seated with a cup of coffee to watch the sunrise and view the lake, bird watch or to enjoy your evening cocktail while star gazing! There are two doors in the picture. The second door is to office space/storage that is rarely used. It is not a duplex or a shared space. If and when booked, the office space will not be used. Guest access This is a quiet, private gated community in the woods. Once inside, you have a winding road so limit your speed to 12 mph. There is plenty of parking at your destination. You will be in a rural area in the woods. Depending on your phone service, you may want to write down the codes for the entry door. Internet is with a mobile hotspot. Service may be spotty at times. There are Florida bass fish in the lake. All fishing is catch and release. You have access to the lake in front of the house. There is a canoe, paddles, and life jackets for your use. In the notebook in the house, it will show you a map to additional parts of the property you have access to for your walking pleasure. Other things to note We would like to know: 1.) How many cars will be with your group, and 2.) A description of the vehicles. (No ATVs or dirt bikes) 3.) You will need to provide the accurate count of guests that will stay with your reservation. Max capacity is 4. 4.). Pets are NOT allowed. We are trying to avoid conflict with the other owners who have dogs. 5.). Please hand wash knives, plastic glasses (not dishwasher safe) and pots and pans. Please do not put them in the dishwasher. Only use utensils in pans that don’t scratch the finish. 6.) Wicker pads or hot pads are to be used on the countertops to prevent damage. 7.) NO LITTER is to be left on the property including cigarette butts. Trash cans are provided outside the door. We present the property to you in a spotless condition. 8.) All trash is to be bagged before it is put into the trash bins on the porch. Trash is picked up daily.
