Lonsdale Street in Braddon is one of Canberra’s premier eating and entertaining districts with award winning restaurants and boutique shopping. You will be in the middle of everything. The space This quality modern centrally cooled/heated one bedroom plus workspace and single fold out bed is a New York loft style apartment in the popular Mode 3 apartment complex. It has an open kitchen and living area downstairs and upstairs a queen size bed, bathroom and workspace. The outdoor living space has a huge balcony overlooking Lonsdale Street with views to the famous Black Mountain Tower. Enjoy Canberra’s spring and summers with outside relaxing drinks watching the vivid Canberra sunsets before heading down to a great restaurant or bar. Artisan bakery Sonoma is just across the road, Eighty-twenty around the corner (breakfast and lunch) and Elemental and Lonsdale street roasters for coffees, as well as many fine dining experiences to choose from includin our local Bent Spoke brewery. . The upstairs bedroom has a queen size bed with fresh linen provided. Spare blankets are included for when times get cool. The apartment has remote controlled outdoor shutters/blades to block the sun and for privacy additional blinds. There is a dedicated workspace should you need to work. It also has a single sofa bed that converts from a comfy chair to a single bed (for a small fee of $30 per night, bed linen will be provided when booking for a 3rd guest). The bathroom has a shower and toilet. We stock it with a small number of toiletries for guests but you may wish to supply your own for longer stays. Freshly laundered towels are provided upon arrival. The self-contained kitchen has a cooktop and oven, microwave, half sized dishwasher and a fridge. It includes a toaster, kettle, Nespresso coffee machine (although you have a number of Canberra’s best coffee places downstairs at your doorstep, and we strongly recommend you try the local roasted beans and brews). You will find a dinner set, and most cutlery and utensils in the cupboards. There is a 3-seater couch, TV with a Chrome cast and Wi-Fi provided, as well as a mini stereo unit for your use (please keep the volume down and respect our friendly neighbours). Our laundry has a washing machine and dryer along with ironing board and iron (upstairs). There is free parking in a secure basement carpark (height 2.2m) for one vehicle on site. We provide a key fob for access and swipe pass. For additional vehicles there is paid parking both within the building in basement 1 and out on the street at the front and back of the building. Please note, although we offer the option for an additional guest (ideal for an older child/teenager/adult) due to the stairs, we don't recommend bookings with a toddler or a younger child.
