Belmont Basement Guest Suite

Our new guest suite is just a 10-15 minute walk from the downtown mall and Belmont restaurants. The basement suite is private with it's own entrance, kitchenette, 9 ft ceilings, and a very spacious bedroom. Perfect base for solo travelers and couples. The space This basement suite is conveniently located within a 5 minute walk to IX Art Park with several restaurants, a brewery, and concerts/festivals during the warmer months. Continue walking another 5-10 minutes and you will arrive at downtown and Belmont restaurants, shops, breweries, and venues. UVA is an easy 20 minute walk. Monticello and Carter's Mountain are within a 10-15 minute drive and countless wineries are within a 15-20 minute drive. To enter the guest suite, walk down a short flight of steps on the left of the house. Walking in the door you will enter the living space with a kitchenette, table, pull-out couch, Amazon Echo, TV, and a bookcase with books and local brochures. The spacious bedroom includes a king bed with memory foam mattress, large closet, large flat-screen TV, dresser, and another bookshelf. The full bathroom with a tub/shower combo is accessible via the bedroom and the living area. The table in the living area can be set up as a desk with a monitor, keyboard, and mouse if requested. There is one large, welled window in the bedroom and a window in the entrance door. The kitchenette includes: Sink Mini fridge Microwave Toaster Oven Keurig coffee maker & pods Electric kettle Noise: We live in the house above and our footsteps and voices can be heard from the basement. Also, there is a sump pump in the basement so when the ground is very wet (e.g. lots of rain within the past 24-hours) the pump runs quite often and can be heard from the bedroom. We provide a white noise machine and ear plugs to minimize any potential disruption but we cannot guarantee that some noise won't still be heard.
