Community Rules and Fines Isabela Beach Court is a residential community, not a hotel. People live here and take pride in maintaining a peaceful environment. Please be respectful at all times — unruly or rude behavior toward staff, security, or residents will not be tolerated. Fines: Violations of community rules may result in warnings or fines of up to $200 per violation. We reserve the right to collect the fine from your security deposit or file a claim through the booking platform when applicable. 🚫 Important Notice – Animal Policy This property is located within a condominium governed by strict HOA regulations. Pets are not allowed under any circumstances, including emotional support animals (ESAs), as per the condominium bylaws. Under the Fair Housing Act, accommodations for emotional support animals apply to long-term housing and do not extend to short-term vacation rentals such as this property. As the host, I am legally required to comply with the condominium regulations. Failure to do so may result in financial penalties, legal action, and/or restrictions that could prevent me from continuing to operate the rental. 🐕🦺 Service Animals Service animals are welcome, in accordance with applicable law and Airbnb policy. Beach Life Living by the beach is a beautiful experience, but it comes with unique conditions. The northwest coast of Puerto Rico experiences constant ocean breezes (10–20 mph) containing salt and fine sand. As a result, you may notice sticky surfaces, slippery floors, or traces of salt, rust, or moisture on some metal fixtures or appliances. Our team cleans and inspects the apartment before every arrival; however, due to the ocean breeze, it’s not possible to maintain surfaces spotless at all times. Conditions may vary slightly depending on the apartment’s location within the complex. After afternoon rain showers, especially at dusk, flying insects may be attracted to light. To minimize this, please keep doors and windows closed and lights off when not in use. Some insects may still enter despite precautions, as this is part of the natural beach environment. Local Beaches Puerto Rico offers a wide variety of beaches. The north and east coasts tend to have waves, while the south and west are usually calmer. The beach directly in front of the complex is beautiful for walking and relaxing, though not always suitable for swimming. When conditions allow, you may find calm natural ponds close to shore. The nearest sandy swimming area is about ¼ mile east, easily reachable by foot. Within a 5-minute drive, you can also find Montones and Teodoro Beaches, both with calm waters, and Crash Boat Beach (25 minutes away) for a must-see experience. Always be cautious in the ocean—check wave conditions and avoid entering the water when swells are strong. Bugs and Wildlife Puerto Rico is a tropical island with abundant biodiversity. Apartments are sprayed monthly, but occasional bug encounters are inevitable, especially at night or during weather changes. The island has no dangerous species, but you may see iguanas, small rodents, or stray cats and dogs. Please do not touch or feed them—they are not domestic animals. Storms and Hurricane Season Hurricane season runs from June 1 to November 30. We highly recommend obtaining travel insurance to protect your trip against unexpected weather events. Refunds are not offered for rain or minor storms, but exceptions may apply for major events causing utility outages longer than 24 hours. Utilities Water and electricity in Puerto Rico are generally stable, though short interruptions can occur. If an outage lasts longer than 24 hours, a 25% nightly rate discount will apply for each affected night, prorated by the hours of interruption. Please note that internet-related issues are beyond our control and do not qualify for refunds. Swimming Pools Your rental includes access to the community pools, but access is not guaranteed as the pools may close occasionally for maintenance or cleaning. Please be kind and respectful to the condominium staff if the pool is temporarily unavailable. To ensure a pleasant experience, read the pool rules posted in the gazebo area—security and administration actively enforce these rules. No discounts are provided if the pool is closed during your stay. Property and Inventory Each apartment we manage belongs to a different owner and is equipped individually. Items such as towels, kitchenware, and decorations must remain in the assigned apartment. We cannot recover items left in other units managed by different hosts. Please take care of the property. The apartment is inspected before and after every stay. Permanent stains (e.g., makeup, wine) or damaged items are not considered normal wear and tear and will be charged at replacement cost. Housekeeping Note The cleaning fee covers standard turnover service. Additional cleaning options are available upon request: Trash disposal – $10 Dishwashing – $20 If you’d like to request these services, please notify us in your check-out message, and we will send a payment request.
