No TV, elevator, gym, or pool, but stairs lead to 4000 sq ft of serenity! The space My quirky work-in-progress bungalow reflects my love for nature and animals. As a frequent traveler, I welcome artists, writers, and solo adventurers seeking a quiet haven near the city center. This retreat home offers a personal office, high-speed WiFi, and serene vibes. No TV, gym, pool, or elevator but if you are can embrace the stairs, you'll discover your own suburban oasis! The residential area is peaceful, with a spacious garden lush with trees at the side and the back. Chickens crowing and Birds singing is what one will hear most, especially in during dawn & dusk. Crickets, frogs and toads croaking before and after the rain is a frequent occurrence during rainy season. Seri Kembangan area has a very local vibe with everything one would need - grocers, restaurants, cafes and pharmacies. Guests will find quite a number of local food stalls to try out in the evenings. The city center is very close: - Various bus stops outside the residential area and the MRT is a 20mins to 25 mins walk (1.8km) using a shortcut from our backyard. - PETRONAS TWIN TOWERS KLCC, TRX even KLIA are a 30-minute drive/MRT ride away. -BUKIT JALIL PAVILLION mall are a 15-20 minute drive away (depending on traffic). Guest access You will be sharing these spaces- kitchen, dining, washing area and hangout with me! :) During your stay While me and my dad live next door, I do make it a point to regularly check on things. If I am around, I will happily welcome you to the space and get you settled down. Always nearby and always contactable. 1 king bed 1 single bed Lock on bedroom door Kitchen Fast wifi – 800 Mbps Dedicated workspace Where you'll be In a small local neighbourhood, close enough to the hustle and bustle of the city centre, yet far enough where the you get chill and relax close to nature. There are a variety of restaurants, cafes and grocery shops 15-20mins walk away. (1km) Alice Smith International School, Taman Equine. A local retired Race Horse Riding are in the neighbourhood, and we are very close to all amenities. The price listed is for the triple room per night with airconditioning. It has a sharing attached bathroom. Short term rentals of minimum 2 weeks duration. Home cooked meals can be provided if requested. A simple main ingredient menu will be provided to choose from when requested. Prior 1 day booking is required to ensure the availability of ingredients. Simple Fully Furnished Rooms with table, table lamp, chair, wardrobe, bed. Price includes weekly cleaning (7-10 days) of bathrooms and common areas and all utilities eg. Air-conditioning, High speed Internet, water, cooking gas. (Do note airconditioning is per 12 hr/day fair usage policy. If using beyond the 12 hr/day there's an extra charge of RM 10/day) A car is available to be used for travel. USD 500 deposit for car damages if any to be returned upon returning in good condition. Full petrol tank upon keys handover both ways, keys handover to be done at a nearby petrol station upon filling up. Guest access You will be able to access your room, the living area and the outdoor common areas such as the veranda, massage room, dining and kitchen areas including the backyard. You are invited to join us in our garden build, such as Composting, planting, bamboo building etc. Note: For those who are coming with pets, they are allowed to roam freely outdoors but no pets are allowed indoors at all times. (Exceptions on case to case basis) During your stay Me and my dad are living in the neighbouring house. We are mostly reachable throughout the day if you need any help during your stay. Also do note that we are a small homestead and have constant small work projects going on, so please bear with us in terms of noise, aesthetics in the common outdoor areas. Indoors are tidy, clean, peaceful and quiet while we can't guarantee the same for outdoors. In other words we are not perfect, we are not a resort for a luxurious getaway. Just a simple and humble place, doing the best we can to grow organic food, take care of the environment, moving towards a more sustainable lifestyle. Other things to note Do note that this is close to nature thus insects are plentiful from the beautiful such as fireflies, dragonflies, butterflies, stringless bees to the annoying mosquitoes, flies, lizards. They are mostly outdoors with occassional few that escapes inside especially if you forget to close your windows or doors. Do prepare some natural insect repellant if you are afraid of them. We also offer natural detox and health protocols such as ayurvedic liver detox, organic juices, smoothies, compress to support any healing that you may need. More details will be discussed if you are interested. Car Usage T&C With a USD 500 or equivalent in cash as deposit, a car is included in the bookings of 3 pax and above without surcharge subjected to reasonable usage with a total traveling distance of 150km/day. Bookings 3 and above pax which includes the car usage: 1) Both Room 1 And Room 2 2) Room 3 3) Room 4 For guest booking Room 1 OR Room 2, an additional room surcharge of RM 60/day for the usage of the car subjected to reasonable usage with a total traveling distance of 150km/day. -Additional usage above 150km will incur RM 1/km for every additional km incurred during the day. -No driving outstation and/or overnight, only in klang valley area. -Car to be returned the same day with full tank of petrol. -Strictly no consumption of alcohol, drugs or cigerattes in the car. -Keeping the car clean and tidy at all times for other guests. Any requirement to get the car washed professionally will incur USD 80 surcharge.
