It is rare to find atypical accommodation that is both historic and one of a kind. Called the "Tour de la Reine Blanche", this ancient fortress of William the Conqueror dates from the 11th century. Our medieval tower is a place steeped in a history that begins with the Vikings of Rollon, 1st Duke of Normandy. In addition, two other cottages, "la Pergola" and "la Chambre Verte" with views of the medieval tower will allow you to enjoy the treasures of our beautiful region: Normandy. The space Our medieval gîte will bring you all modern comforts in an original decor worthy of the knights of the round table. It includes: • A main room, called the "Weapons Room" in which you can share a meal around the round table, comfortably seated in the large oak armchairs, worthy of King Arthur's furniture! You can use the wooden dishes or terracotta plates to enjoy your meal cooked over a wood fire on the brazier or in the fireplace. Guest access Our medieval cottage is independent, located on a feudal mound of 5000 m² with private parking. Other things to note In the weapons room, a seating area: you can sit on the leather sofa to enjoy a good fireplace (this one, unfolded, is a very comfortable double bed) or to watch your favorite show on the TV screen hidden behind a Norman flag. • In the White Queen's Tower there is a large round bed 2.30 m in diameter framed by 3 arrow slits that will allow you to spend unforgettable and very comfortable "medieval" nights in total calm. • You have an old wooden kitchen, equipped with a refrigerator, oven, microwave, induction stovetop under the hood, toaster and Nespresso coffee machine, all classic kitchen accessories and an old large stone sink. • A classic toilet and a bathroom all in wood, equipped with a shower whose tray is a large wooden barrel. • Outside, you can cook on the plancha brazier and enjoy a wooden dining area. Our entire medieval cottage is equipped with central heating that will bring you a gentle warmth between its walls with a thickness of 1m20.
