Located in South Columbus minutes from Downtown and Nationwide Children’s Hospital, our diverse neighborhood is centrally located with convenient access to major thoroughfares and public transit: the perfect location for your extended Columbus stay! Driving is the fastest way to get around, but you’ll also be half a block from the 4-bus stop which provides direct access to Nationwide Children’s. The Cottage is available for minimum one-month bookings. The space This recently updated 3Bed/1BA home features all the comforts and amenities ideal for an extended stay: - Comfortable memory foam mattresses (two queen and one full) - Blackout curtains in both first-floor bedrooms - Central AC and Heat - Space heaters for total temperature customization - Free high speed Wifi (300 mbs) - Dedicated desk workspace for business travelers with cushioned swivel chair - 50-inch Insignia Smart TV with Netflix, Peacock, Prime, YouTube, and Max streaming capability - Fully outfitted kitchen with pots/pans set, cups, wine glasses, dishes, utensils, kitchen knives, modern dish rack, and basic cooking supplies including olive oil and stocked spice rack - Coffee Maker, Electric Hot Water Kettle, and Toaster - Bath and Body Works plug-in air fresheners - High Pressure Showerhead - Revlon Hair Dryer - Make-up remover towels - Parking in private driveway - Brand new Whirlpool washer/dryer set in basement Upon entering, you’ll be greeted by gleaming original hardwood floors that have been beautifully restored. Cozy up on the couch and stream all your favorite shows on our 50 inch Smart TV. We ask that you sign into your own streaming accounts. Or settle down with a book beneath the reading lamp on our supportive velvet accent chair. Enjoy your meals in the main living area at our round wooden dining table. The kitchen features new tile flooring (be mindful of the slight step up to the kitchen area) and a modern ceiling fan. The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, stove/range, and microwave. We also have a coffee maker, electric hot water kettle for you tea drinkers, and toaster. The bathroom is newly renovated. If you enjoy strong water pressure, then you’ll like our shower head. We provide a starter set of basic toiletries including shampoo, body wash, toilet paper, and cotton rounds. We also have a Revlon hairdryer and makeup remover towels. There are two bedrooms on the main level. One bedroom features a queen bed and the other has a full. In the bedroom with the full bed, there is also a functional work desk with a comfortable swivel chair. The upstairs is a finished attic with a queen bed. Please note that the upstairs tends to stay cooler than the rest of the house during the winter months, perfect if you prefer cooler temperatures to sleep. If not, we provide a space heater to ensure you get just the right temperature for your liking. Guest access You will have the entire house to yourself! Self-check-in is after 4pm using the keyless electronic door lock. Two days prior to check-in, you will receive a unique code to use throughout your stay. Other things to note - There is one exterior security camera that faces toward the street. Please do not cover or tamper with the camera. - No smoking, vaping, or e-cigarettes. Any evidence of smoking or tampering with any smoke/fire detector inside the house will result in a fine. - No parties allowed. - Pets are allowed on a case-by-case basis subject to a non-refundable pet fee. - Our spacious backyard is only accessible from the exterior front yard gate. - We provide a starter set of Tide Laundry Detergent Pods. - All guests must be 22+ except for children with parents. - Please do not access the shed in the backyard. - To easily return to this listing or make sharing with your group easier, add us to your wishlist by clicking the <3 in the upper-right corner.
