Stanfordtunet

Stanfordtunet is beautifully located with panoramic views of the area at Osfossen and inner Dalsfjord. With a short distance to both river, fjord and mountains, the hiking options are many. If you are looking for peace and quiet, the local environment and nature around the farm, the river and the waterfall are a good starting point. Alternatively, take a trip on the fjord or a mountain trip on Fløyen, Storehesten, Lisjehesten, day trip cabin Skaraly or one of the other good hiking options in the area. The space Stanfordtunet consists of Stanfordhytta and two suites "Sir Charles" and "Lady Ellen". Stanfordhytta was built in 1970, but last upgraded in 2019. The suites were built in 2019. The cabin has a large living room, large and well equipped kitchen. There are 4 bedrooms, 2 rooms with bunk beds and 2 rooms with 2 single beds each, a total of 8 beds. The cabin has two bathrooms, as well as a spacious and large terrace with an adjoining outdoor area. Each suite consists of 2 bedrooms with 2 beds in each room and one bathroom. The total capacity in the yard is 16 beds. Guest access Guests have access to the cabin, the yard and the surrounding area. Other things to note The cabin and the area have been used in connection with salmon fishing under Osfossen since 1910. The cabin is fully booked for salmon fishermen during the season June 1 to September 15. Outside of this season, the cabin and the area with associated facilities are available to other guests.
