Welcome to Marie's Oasis. This house has been completely renovated. All furniture, bedding, utensils and appliances are new. The decor was carefully chosen by the owner, who has experience in the area. Marie's Oasis is located 5 minutes from the beach, with access to a 2 km bike path along the coast, as well as an ideal place to swim and delicious restaurants where you can enjoy the local cuisine. Other things to note We inform you that the check-ins between 21:00 and 08:00 have a surcharge of €20, to be charged at the time of check-in. The standard check-in time is after 5:00 pm. We would like to inform you that, as of January 1, 2025, a new law has come into force in the Azores that requires the collection of a tourist fee of €2 per night and per guest, during the first 3 nights of stay. This charge will be applied to all guests, except in the situations of exemption provided for in the legislation. Isenções: The following cases are exempt from paying the Tourist Tax: a) Guests under 13 years of age; b) Guests whose stay is motivated by obtaining medical services, for the days necessary for the treatment, plus a overnight stay, extending this exemption to a person accompanying the sick guest (even if the companion does not stay at the establishment due to health reasons); (c) Guests with physical disability equal to or greater than 60%; d) Residents in Azores. Documentation Required for Proof: To benefit from the exemption, it will be necessary to present the documentation corresponding to the situation, at the time of payment of the fee. The following are the required documents: a) For guests under the age of 13: Citizen card or passport; b) For guests staying motivated by medical services: Copy of the document proving the appointment or provision of medical services, indicating the date; c) For guests with a disability greater than 60%: Document proving the condition of disability; d) For residents of the Azores: Identification document (citizen card, identity card, certificate of residence or proof of address).
