Aloha

Aloha is the perfect place to unwind. A classic Aussie fibro beach house in the Prom Views Estate in Walkerville, within walking distance to Cape Liptrap Costal Park and just a short drive from the beautiful beaches of Walkerville and South Gippsland. The space Ideal for a couple but also suitable for a small family or 2 couples, Aloha is a little holiday house with plenty of retro features, comfy beds and a well equipped kitchen. The main bedroom has a queen bed and the second has a double. All linen is supplied. There is a very funky bathroom with roll-top bath and shower and a separate toilet, towels are supplied but please bring your own beach towels. The lounge area with TV is small but cosy with a split system and a wood stove heater. There are also plenty of books and games to keep you entertained. There are 2 outdoor decks with plenty of seating and furniture to enjoy an outdoor meal. Please note there is no wi-fi at Aloha and mobile reception can drop out occasionally, the perfect excuse to truly switch off! Kindling for the wood stove is provided but please bring your own firewood. Strictly no pets allowed. Prom Views is a quiet residential estate surrounded by farmland and the Cape Liptrap Coastal Park. A walking trail takes you through the park to the look-out, rewarding you with stunning views of coastline and across to Wilsons Promontory. You can also walk down to North Beach via this trail though it's a steep walk down (approx. 40 minutes). North Beach is a rocky coastline with swimming holes, coves, caves and rockpools, the perfect beach for an explorative adventure! The beautiful sheltered lagoon-like beach of Walkerville South is accessible along the beach at low tide or is a 10 minute drive. Maps and informative leaflets can be found in Aloha. There are no shops at Walkerville, the nearest being at Fish Creek, Foster and Tarwin Lower. The Walkerville Caravan Park has a kiosk which sells some basic essentials, they also sell fish and chips and the best burgers ever! Opening times vary on the season. Guest access Guests have full access to the property, there is space for one car on the driveway or parking is available on the grassy verge. Other things to note Wildlife often cross the roads particularly at dusk and dawn, please take care when driving in the area.
