The space Please read the listing details and be willing to treat our space with respect. We enjoy hosting and hope to provide you with the most pleasant stay. Our space is located in our basement and includes a kitchenette with complete cooking and dining utensils. 1 bedroom with a queen bed and a separated office space. Our living room offers board games, card games, and puzzles-for a fun night in-and a 2nd queen bed. Our 1 bathroom is stocked with shampoo, conditioner and body wash, and a hair dryer and hair straightener for your use. The space is also equipped with an air hockey table and a dartboard which sets our getaway apart! You may enjoy the backyard as well; we’d be glad to tidy it up for you if you decide to use the space and even the fire pit. We can provide some extra folding chairs, big repellant candles etc. Just note, we live in the unit upstairs, so you might hear our steps throughout the day when we are home. Although, we try our best to maximize our guests’ comfort - If footsteps might be too bothersome to you, take that into consideration before booking. We have an EV charger in our driveway. Our guests are welcome to use it upon request. Guest access Your unit is accessed from the backyard upon entering the wooden gate in the driveway, please do no try to enter the main unit; your code will not work. Our backyard and deck is available for your use, including the bbq grill but we ask that you let us know if you plan on using the grill so we make sure it is ready for use (especially during non-summer stays). You are also welcomed to the fire pit and wood out there, just be mindful of safety (turning fire off etc). Other things to note Note that this is the basement level and there is a flight of stairs to get to your entire unit upon entering. We live upstairs with a a dog and two cats who like to spend some time in the backyard, so you may catch a glimpse of them. You will also hear us from your unit but we adhere to quiet hours. The temperature is controlled from the upstairs unit but please reach out if you’d like it adjusted and we’d happily do so!
