In the heart of the Chevreuse Valley, 30 km from Paris and 5 minutes from the RER (Saint Remy les Chevreuse station), our house is simple, rustic and warm. This old water mill is nestled in a 7-hectare wood, in the beautiful estate of the Château de Mauvières: a change of scenery is guaranteed. At the foot of the mill flows the Yvette, a bucolic river surrounded by unspoiled nature: heron, duck, goose, deer... In front of the house, the island of Bergerac, fief that gave its name to the famous Cyrano! The space In the house you will find a large living room with fireplace, kitchen, dining room and library overlooking a terrace with river views, facing south. Two bedrooms and a bathroom complete the first floor; 1 bedroom with 1 double bed and 1 bedroom with 2 single beds. On the second floor; 1 bedroom with 1 double bed, 1 with 1 single bed and a large bathroom. On the third floor, 1 bedroom with 1 single bed and 1 bedroom with 2 single beds with shower room. Guest access Around the house, a garden and a wooded area of 7 hectares crossed by the Yvette, is reserved for guests. Other things to note The house, a former water mill, is surrounded by a river. Children must therefore be monitored on a permanent basis. The house is intended for stays for a maximum of 10 people. The comfort is simple, rustic, authentic.
