Family Tradition

Nestled on the serine Nehalem River in the heart of our beautiful town of Nehalem is an extremely unique property with loads of personality...Welcome to Family Tradition. There is nothing better than relaxing on the oversized deck watching the river roll by. Lots of wildlife viewing such as bald eagles, otters, herons, egrets, deer, elk, and depending on the time of year, salmon! We do not offer boat moorage, but feel free to bring your kayak and launch off of the shared dock. The space Family Tradition is a duplex which is separated by a large walkway and a large privacy wall. The other side of the duplex is the "Offish" space. **On occasion the owners will walk across the far side of the deck to access the dock & boat.** Guest access Guests will have access to the entire Family Tradition home, large deck, and shared dock (no boat moorage). Other things to note Family Tradition is located directly on the Nehalem River. Please be aware that there are dangers that come with being directly on the water. Please be cautious if traveling with children or partaking in adult beverages.
