Nestled on 50 acres located near the tail end of Tradinghouse Lake & across the road from Lake Mart. Our cozy little farm is a wonderful place to sit back, relax, & enjoy the country life. Say hello to our cows & donkey, roast marshmallows over a fire, cast a line in one of our ponds, or take a peaceful walk down to the big lake. It is the perfect destination for a weekend getaway or rest from your visit to Waco & the Silo District (25 min), Baylor University (20 min), or Waco Surf (10 min). The space Built in 1941, the farmhouse offers 3 bedrooms with 1 king, 1 queen, 2 full size beds, and pack'n'play. There is one bathroom with a double vanity and shower/tub. The dining room contains a large table for seating up to 10 and a booster for infants. The backyard is fully enclosed by a chain-link fence and has a swingset and zipline, while the patio and propane grill sit beneath the eaves of a live oak tree. The farmyard outside the chain-link fence has 2 peach trees and a persimmon tree. The firepit sits near the back of the farmyard, looking out over the lower pasture and pond towards Tradinghouse lake and the creek bottom leading to the reservoir. Guest access Guests have access to the house, backyard, farmyard, and pond with the dock located in the small pasture to the East of the house. We keep several kid friendly fishing poles and some tackle on hand for our guests so they can enjoy some catch and release fishing. Please be aware that our neighbors occasionally fish at the pond, but we have asked them to give our guests privacy when you are visiting. Other things to note On your first night's stay, we provide a dozen farm fresh eggs and a variety of easy breakfast options. Unfortunately, the motor on the Jacuzzi tub is not working at this time.
