Welcome to our spacious house located in the polder with peace and freedom, free parking. Discover by cycling or walking the typical polder landscape with picturesque villages, winding dikes, babbling rivers and scenic ferries. The space Our house where we also live is a double house, completely separate from the house we rent out. The house offers peace, freedom and plenty of space to relax. 15 km away from the famous mills of Kinderdijk, where you can take the water bus to Rotterdam, Dordrecht and surrounding villages. 6 km from the fortified town of Nieuwpoort and Zilverstad Schoonhoven. Gouda with its imposing Sint-Jankerk. Dordrecht with its cozy cottages and alleys are within reach. Don't forget to explore the nearby nature reserve the Biesbosch. And Gorinchem, the fortified city of the Netherlands. Together with Woudrichem, Loevestein Castle and Fort Vuren, part of the New Dutch Water Line, UNESCO World Heritage. And for a day in Rotterdam with its impressive ports and the Nieuwe Maasvlakte, you only have to travel 33 km. A day in Amsterdam can be reached within 75 minutes. Adventure park Fien en Teun for the young children, 10 min. by car. And in warm weather, there is plenty of water in the area for fishing, swimming, sailing or canoeing in the great outdoors. At 2.5 km, there is the Bergstoepstrandje on the Lek. You can also rent canoes 3 km away And bicycles (e-bikes) are available for rent 5 km away. The bikes can be brought and picked up by the rental company. There is also a solex rental company 3 km away. In short: on foot, by bike, by moped or car, you will enjoy yourself here. There is plenty of outdoor space to relax. You can park your car for free on our own property and it has its own entrance. On the ground floor, we have a cool, comfortable double room for guests with mobility problems. Upstairs, you will find 3 more bedrooms, each with two single beds and air conditioning. All rooms have plenty of closet space for your clothes, and each room has its own workspace. The bathroom is located on the ground floor, has a sink and bathtub with shower. There are also plenty of bath towels, hand towels, shampoo and bath foam. Floor heating, central heating ensures comfort. WiFi is available throughout the house. The spacious living room has a sitting area, dining table, chairs, and an open kitchen. There is enough room for 8 people. The kitchen is well equipped with an induction hob, fridge/freezer, combi microwave and all necessary cooking and baking utensils, pans, plates, cutlery, bowls, cups and glasses. A dishwasher, coffee maker and Senseo will make your stay even more enjoyable. In the kitchen, towels, tea towels, dishwasher capsules, dishwasher detergent, etc. are provided. In the utility room, you will find a sink, washing machine, drying rack for your clothes and a large coat rack. There is also detergent available. There is a spacious storage cabinet with cushions for the garden chairs, board/games, puzzles, crafts and toys for the children. On the landing, there is a separate spacious toilet with a sink. Also there is a high chair, toddler chair and camping bed for the youngest children. Do you have an e-bike? There is a lockable space to store and charge 8 ebikes or bicycles. The price includes linens and basic necessities such as toilet paper, oil, salt and sugar in the kitchen. And of course, made-up beds and plenty of hand/bath towels. We are more than pleased to welcome you! Please note: no parties and no overnight guests. Minimum 3-night stay. When leaving, please remove the beds, laundry in laundry basket, garbage in garbage containers outside. If you have any further questions, we are at your disposal.
