Pala Dharamshala - Mountain Cottage

Escape to this hidden gem surrounded by fields, just a delightful 3-minute walk through the Tibetan settlement and into the fields. Follow a narrow path adorned with ever-changing wildflowers and the cheerful chirping of birds, leading you to Pala. Wake up to the morning sun casting a warm glow over the nearby yet distant Dhauladhars, or bask in the sun’s rays all day long. Experience the beauty of rain showers as they wash over the fields, with clouds filling the air. The space Our cottage is nestled amidst lush, green farmland with mesmerising views of the Dhauladhars Range. Just a three-minute walk from the main road, it offers a quiet and serene atmosphere perfect for relaxation. The two-bedroom cottage features high ceilings, a spacious living room, and a fully equipped kitchen, complemented by inviting front and back verandahs. The host stays in a separate room on the property and is always happy to help with any local needs, including transportation and food recommendations. We have a cook who arrives each morning to clean and prepare breakfast upon request. In addition, there are plenty of cafés and restaurants around the cottage offering a variety of food options. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the essential basics. Guest access Guests have access to the inviting living room, a well-equipped kitchen, and both the front and backyard areas. Enjoy the comfort of every space within this welcoming retreat. Other things to note * Please note that on site parking is unavailable due to narrow stone path. However, paid parking facilities are available with in walking distance from the cottage. *Try to check in before sunset as there is a brief walk to the cottage. * If possible, please consider bringing a backpack instead of a trolley bag. (Trolley bag should be lightweight and easy to carry) * We do not have a caretaker at the cottage however a house help that comes in the morning for 4 hours to clean and make food (if required). *Although air conditioning is not available, the cottage remains comfortably cool except on a few of the hottest summer days.
