Cabins with mtn. view, meals, tours

The two cozy guest cabins are situated above the house up on the rocks and nestled among cedar trees, overlooking the Inonoaklin valley and the scenic Selkirk mountains. Lots of wildlife, trails on property. The space Both cabins are equipped with a double bed, table and chairs and electric heaters. Outside each cabin are a picnic table and BBQ pit. There is a "luxury outhouse" between the cabins. No running water, containers will be provided. Besides that, the bathroom in our house is at your convenience. Guest access Since there is no restaurant in the vicinity except for Nakusp in 75km, I offer full meals. My cooking is German-Canadian farm style - simple, healthy, hearty. Breakfast = $ 7.50 per person Lunch = $ 10.00 Supper = $15.00 During your stay Meals are served in the house or outdoors at the picnic table/fireplace where I usually keep the guests company. Questions can be answered and activities discussed since besides accommodation and meals, I also offer trips into the backcountry. The program includes afternoon excursions, day trips, canoeing and fishing tours, and combined multi-day camping trips. Guests staying longer than a few days have the opportunity to join me and my friends for social get-togethers and local events, and to experience everyday life in a small Canadian community. Other things to note The Cedar Trails Guest Farm, as my late husband Dale and I named our small guestfarm and tour business, was founded in 1996. Since then, we have accomodated and taken on tours many guests, mostly German. I'm still in touch with many of them and some came back even several times. One year after Dale passed away, I've decided to carry on with the guest farm business and even do the tours, with the help of friends who will take care of the canoes and the fishing. With us - I still say "us" - everything is simple and basic and that's how our guests like it. If you like quiet and remote places as well as nice company and good food, if you like to unwind in beautiful settings and fresh air, away from traffic and industry and if you are willing to do without the luxory of a destination resort, then we are sure you will enjoy your stay with us.
