Our home is tucked into the foothills of the Utah mountains, with hiking and biking trails just minutes away and easy access to nearby canyons and lakes. This is our family’s primary home—comfortable, calm, and set up for real life, not just short visits. We’ll be traveling for part of the summer and would love to share it with one great guest (or family) looking for a longer, more settled stay. If you’re hoping for a place to cook, relax, and enjoy time outdoors, this will feel like home. The space Our two-story home offers comfortable, flexible space for families or longer stays, with room to relax, work, and spend time together. Upstairs, you’ll find a bright living area and open-concept kitchen that’s fully equipped for cooking, along with a cozy breakfast nook. There’s also a sunny office with an adjustable standing desk (which can be converted into an additional sleeping space with a deluxe air mattress upon request), and a full bathroom. Downstairs, the primary bedroom features a king bed, built-in library, and gas fireplace for a quiet, restful retreat. The second bedroom is set up as a children’s room with a single bed, toy storage, and dresser. Both bedrooms open into a comfortable lounge/play area with a daybed. This level also includes a 3/4 bathroom with shower, a large walk-in closet, and a laundry room with washer and dryer. Children’s books and toys can be left out or put away prior to your stay—just let us know what you prefer. Outside - step out back to a large covered patio with seating for six, a play set, fire pit, and hammock. Beyond the fenced yard is a native plant garden and natural area. Under a large spruce tree, you’ll find an extra-large outdoor bathtub with hot water—perfect for relaxing at the end of the day. The neighborhood is walkable and convenient. Within a short walk you’ll find two parks, a library, a grocery store, an ice cream shop, and a wooded walking path. Trailheads are just a short drive away (with many more within 15 minutes), and the canyon—less than two miles away—offers access to mountain lakes and hiking. We’re located about 15 minutes from downtown Ogden and 45 minutes from Salt Lake City and the airport. Guest access The entire place is yours. The only closed off part is the detached garage. There is parking for two vehicles in the driveway. Other things to note This is not a full time vacation home; this is our family's primary home. We are renting it out during the summer break when we will be out of state for an extended period. We have been long time AirBnb guests and hosts and will do everything we can to make it comfortable for you, but it will still have personal items there as it is our home.
