This countryside retreat is situated just off the High Street in the picturesque riverside village of Newnham on Severn, Gloucestershire. There are superb panoramic views over the Forest of Dean and Severn Valley. It is close to the many local beauty spots and tourist attractions of the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley. The house is bright and airy providing a great space to relax with family or friends. The space The house is a modern, open plan design with generous living space. Upstairs there are four bedrooms (two en-suite) and large family bathroom. Three of the bedrooms have king sized beds, the fourth normally has two single beds although we can rearrange furniture to add an additional bed to this room if you require. Please request this when you book if you want us to add the extra bed. Downstairs is a flexible open plan space with a well equipped kitchen adjoining the dining and lounge areas which can be separated with integral folding doors if required. There is also a utility room and a downstairs cloakroom. French doors open from the living space onto the terrace and the enclosed landscaped garden. This has a south west facing aspect perfect for relaxing and entertaining in private. From the rear there are spectacular views over the landscaped gardens, wildflower meadow and on to the Forest of Dean and Severn Valley beyond. To the front there is an enclosed driveway and garage with off-road parking for at least 4 vehicles. There is also a 7kW EV charging point for guest use. High speed full fibre broadband is available throughout the property. In the lounge there is a 55" UHD smart TV which can easily be wheeled to anywhere in the open plan living areas so simply log in to your favourite streaming service to watch Ultra HD content wherever you want! There's also a games console with a selection of games and DVDs to try or download your favorites from your gaming account. You can listen to music or podcasts from your mobile devices by wirelessly connecting to the TV sound bar. Guest access Guests have access to the entire property with the exception of the understairs cupboard and garage which we use for storage. Other things to note Up to two well behaved pets are welcome - please add these at the time of booking. The rear gardens are fully enclosed but we can't guarantee your pet wouldn't be able to escape. So, please keep any dogs under control as local farmers keep livestock (typically cows and sheep) in the fields behind the house. We can rearrange the furniture in Bedroom 4 and add an additional single bed if your group requires this. The photographs of Bedroom 4 show both the 2 and 3 bed options so please let us know at the time of booking if you need the extra bed.
