The village by the city: Welcome to our home in the typical Austrian country house style in picturesque Elsbethen/Salzburg South. - 5 min walk to bus 160 (Elsbethen Gemeindeamt stop, 10 min to the local train stop (train S3 Elsbethen stop), 15 min by bike to the old town - Outdoor activities: hiking, fitness course, adventure playground, climbing garden, zoo, forest bath, golf, bike rental, winter sports... - Bakery, supermarket, warehouse, inns right in the village The space The apartment is on the 2nd floor (attic) of a well-kept private house. The landlady/homeowner lives on the floor below (1st floor). Due to the central location, a vacation using public transportation is easy to organize. Bus lines 160 and 165 (Elsbethen Gemeindeamt stop) or the local train connection S3 (Elsbethen local train station) connect you to the city of Salzburg in a few minutes. If you are arriving with A LOT OF LUGGAGE, we definitely recommend the bus (only a 5-minute walk to the accommodation). “Salzburger Land introduced the public transport guest ticket on May 1, 2025. Guest access Guests are also welcome to share the garden: In the warmer season you can :-) Eat (tables, chairs, dishes and coffee maker, various drinking water taps), :-) work (various sockets available) :-) just relax and enjoy the soothing view of the countryside (sun loungers, recliner, various seats). Please supervise your children in the garden very carefully (small garden pond, garden tools, lawn mowing robot...). Other things to note Guests with children are very welcome! However, the apartment is not explicitly equipped to be childproof: for example, the cleaning products are accessible. The traditional wooden staircase is steeper than your children may be used to. There is a robotic lawnmower and an unsecured small pond in the garden. Garden equipment and tools are accessible. Careful supervision of the children by their guardians is necessary.
