This Eco Retreat is a secluded sanctuary. Set on 40 acres, this private forest retreat is at the door step of the Watagans National Park. The retreat offers a peaceful base for special gatherings, meaningful celebrations, and quiet moments of rest and renewal. Rules for Retreats, Weddings and Events: * Retreats require a non-refundable deposit. **No weddings or bucks nights, sorry! The space Our Retreat is available for large groups up to 19 people (more accepted upon pre approval). If you book this space you will have private access to the three cabins on the property and the 40 acres of wilderness. MAIN HOUSE (sleeps 10) Our main lodge offers a modern kitchen, large living area, dining room, three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Enjoy our indoor wood fire place in the cooler months. Settle into your stay with views from the deck. Relax in the heated spa on the outdoor deck and enjoy your peace. Bedroom one - 2 x single beds Bedroom two - 4 x single beds Bedroom three - 2 x single bunk beds Bedrooms with ceiling fans. No Aircon in this house. STUDIO (sleeps 6) Here you will find our workshop, specially set up for wellness and yoga retreats in mind. Our large studio area provides enough space for large groups to enjoy yoga and like activities. There is a tea room with a fridge for refreshments and a large outdoor deck. Our studio has an indoor wood fire to enjoy. Bedroom one - 3 x single beds Bedroom two - 1 x single bunk bed and 1 x single bed. THE TINY HOUSE (sleeps 2 - 3) Choose the Tiny House experience for a romantic or private escape. This space is available for 2 – 3 people. With all the amenities for comfort including a bathroom, kitchenette, living space and a deck area to relax in a hammock. Loft - 1 x king bed Additional bed available as the lounge folds out to a bed. Suitable for a child or a smaller adult. OUTDOORS 40 acres of stunning rainforest. There is approximately 3 acres of maintained lawn surrounded by tall trees, a dam with a seating area and mossy boulders. Listen to the birds, watch the kangaroos and ducks and try to spot a deer. There is an abundance of wildlife to enjoy. Each dwelling has a firepit for use in the cooler months. LOCATION We are located 9 minutes from Cooranbong, 90 minutes from Sydney CBD and 50 minutes from Newcastle We are surrounded by the spectacular Watagan National Park where you can enjoy waterfalls, hiking, trail running, mountain bike riding and more. 2 minutes to Watagan National Park 15 minutes to Awaba Mountain Bike Track 40 minutes to Hunter Wineries 20 minutes to 8 at Trinity Please note there is no Wifi at the property and phone reception may be slow and at times, limited. No parties allowed without prior consent. Please message to enquire about events at our property. Sorry we cannot host bucks, 18ths or 21sts! Guest access Guests will have access to the three buildings and 40 acres of outdoor space. We are a self check in and check out property. Other things to note There is no Wi-Fi available. Mobile phone reception has coverage for most carriers but may be very slow or at times, limited. The air-conditioning is in the tiny house and the studio (living area). There is no air-conditioning in the top house or bedrooms. All bedrooms have ceiling fans. We are surrounded by wilderness, please expect to encounter birds, kangaroos, ducks, deer, bush mice, insects, spiders and some creepy crawlies. Of course we aim to keep them outside and also provide insect repellent, but please be aware they exist and enjoy our eco retreat too. Please note that our standard number of guests is up to 19 people. This includes day visitors. If you would like to enquire about including more people you must contact the host prior to booking. Additional guests are $60 per person / per night. A minimum three night stay is required for event bookings and large groups (over 25 guests) and an event fee applies.
