Welcome to the beautiful Blue Marsh Lake neighborhood! Come for a perfect weekend getaway or a week of family vacation! The space Our 3 bedroom house is the perfect choice to enjoy a stay in this area. You can enjoy sunrises over the fields behind the house. Start a fire in our outdoor fire ring to enjoy all of the sights and sounds of nature. In early summer, watch the lawn turn magical as it fills with a myriad of winking fireflies. Listen close and you may hear a coyote in the distance! Right inside the front door discover a sitting area flooded with natural light. Adjoining is the dining area and kitchen, giving the main living space an open format feel. Right off the dining area is a large 3 season room equipped with a comfortable sitting area. The sunroom features a breathtaking view of the rolling hills and also provides access to the outdoor firepit. Two bedrooms are equipped with a queen bed, closet and comfy rug. A third bedroom has a bunk with a full bed on the bottom and a twin bed above, an additional twin bed and a closet. The bathroom is beautifully outfitted with a tile shower, double sink, and modern fixtures. Downstairs you’ll find a lounge area with a flatscreen TV, a game area that includes foosball and Pac-man, another full bath, and laundry. The sofa in the basement has a pull out bed for two guests to use. Our house is well equipped for your stay. We’ve done our best to stock the extras you may need so you can enjoy a stress-free vacation. You can pack light as we provide full access to the laundry downstairs. Other things to note The Blue Marsh Lake region is a beautiful corner of Berks County. Fish or boat in the lake, or enjoy the trail loop with your bike. Pack a picnic or take a country drive and find a farm market stand along the roadside. You can go trout fishing in local streams south of the lake. Our retreat is located just around the corner from the State Hill boat launch. At the boat launch enjoy free parking in a large lot with access to the Lake Border Trail! Drive a few minutes and you’ll be at the free parking lot for the Swim Beach! We are also conveniently located near these noteworthy eateries: Ganley’s Irish Pub, Plum Creek Farm Market and Creamery, Schaylor Brewing Company, and Crave Cafe.
