The property is only a five minute drive or 25 minute walk into the centre of Shrewsbury. A fully refurbished two bedroomed grade 2 listed cottage on a quiet residential street only 400m from the Shropshire Way. Close to Shrewsbury School (5 min drive) and Shrewsbury Town FC (15 min walk). The space Poets cottage is a small cosy cottage maintaining lots of its original charm and has been recently renovated to a high standard. As the property is over 200 years old, the cottage still boasts many original features including the original beams to all rooms. On entering the property, you will find a cosy lounge with log burner (logs supplied) sofa, chair and a smart tv. The newly fitted kitchen can be found to the rear of the cottage and has an electric oven, hob, microwave, fridge, kettle and toaster. The narrow staircase winds up to the first floor where we find 2 bedrooms and the luxury bathroom. The master bedroom has a double bed and a single bed to bedroom two. Basics such as toiletries and kitchen products are supplied plus milk tea coffee and cooking basics. There is free Wi-Fi throughout the property. Use of the garden is permitted see guest access. Guest access There is a garden and patio which guests are welcome to use together with a small summerhouse with garden furniture. There is shared access to the rear of the property for other residents in the row to access the alleyway but this is very minimal! The property is unsuitable for toddlers as no safety gates and open staircase but babies in arms welcome and a travel cot and high chair can be provided. Older children welcome. Other things to note Please note, the staircase is steep and narrow and will be unsuitable for guests with limited mobility.
