In this spacious, comfortable apartment, you will immediately feel at home. The free parking space and the central, quiet location are a great asset. Just like the smooth, fast connection to some of the most beautiful cities in Belgium and Europe. Or to the airport, by car or public transportation. Restaurants, parks, shops, nature... You will find it all within walking distance. The space From our apartment, you can reach the center of Brussels in 20 minutes (by train). But you can just as easily reach the other beautiful cities that Belgium has to offer from here, via the highway or public transportation. In summer, you can even take a boat to our capital. Or rent a bike and follow the bike highway. The airport is also close by, but you will not be bothered by the planes themselves. We (Gregory and Judith) completely renovated the apartment in early 2024, complete with air conditioning. We furnished it as if we were going to live there ourselves and thought it was very important that it is cozy, that you feel completely at home there. Our own teenagers wanted to live there right away! It also feels spacious with its 100 m². You will find all modern comforts, such as smart TV, a Nespresso coffee machine, induction hob, internet via fiber, washing machine, rain shower, iron... On colder days you can cozy up on the sofa with a blanket and coffee or tea, and on beautiful days you can enjoy a refreshing drink in the sun on the balcony. Are you traveling for work? Then you can work quietly at our desk with a comfortable desk chair. The brand new kitchen is super well equipped and has a high table to have aperitifs, play a board game or do puzzles. So it's always cozy in the kitchen while you prepare a nice meal. There is no shortage of storage space here. We even have a shoe cabinet So you don't have to trip over your shoes when you come in. The wardrobe in the bedroom is very spacious. There are also plenty of coat racks to hang coats and bags on. The beds and duvets are so comfortable that we bought them for ourselves as well. You will sleep wonderfully here. The bedrooms are also at the back, where you will not be bothered by traffic. The apartment has double glazing everywhere. This apartment is ideal for families, business travelers or tourists looking for an ideal base to discover the most beautiful cities of our country. Nearby you will find many different restaurants and shops. Our travel guide has a nice overview, with some tips from us. Twice a week, there is a large farmers' market where it is pleasant to walk around. There are also several parks with playgrounds and ponds. Upon arrival at the accommodation, you will find all the information about this. We offer an underground, secure parking space. In the street (50 meters away) there is a supermarket that is also open on Sundays and holidays. You certainly don't have to buy herbs, sugar or oil, because we offer that. Are you coming with (small) children? At your request, we will prepare a baby cot, a bath, a changing pad and a high chair. We also provide other fun things to keep your kids busy. You won't hear them much anymore! 😉 See you soon? Guest access The apartment is fully yours! It is on the top (second) floor. You can reach it via the stairs or the elevator. Other things to note There is (on most days) a direct bus from the airport to Vilvoorde. Within a ten-minute walk is the station where you can take the train to Brussels, Antwerp, Ghent, Mechelen, Leuven... Train to Brussels Central: 10-minute walk to the station + 10-minute train Train to Antwerp: 10-minute walk to the station + 35-minute train ride Train to Mechelen: 10-minute walk to the station + 8-minute train From Vilvoorde, you can take the boat directly to Brussels (via Waterbus and Rivertours). And for those who prefer cycling, there is a bicycle highway (Boom-Vilvoorde-Brussels). Vilvoorde is near the airport (but it doesn't bother you, I promise). And the E40, Brussels ring, and E19 are also nearby. And did we mention that Vilvoorde is 3 hours from Paris, Amsterdam and London? It is therefore in the heart of Belgium and Europe. And then something about the neighborhood. There is a supermarket in the street, which is very convenient. Nearby are also many cozy eateries (tapas bar, poké bowl, sandwich shop, refined restaurants, pizzeria, fast food ...).
