The Old Smokehouse Cannock Chase

Positioned in the heart of Cannock Chase an area of outstanding natural beauty is this tiny but cosy and delightful former Smokehouse. Recently converted into a one bedroom tiny quirky cottage which is perfect for a cosy romantic break, or a breath of fresh air in the beautiful forest with all it offers. It has a small but well equipped kitchen ,small double bedroom with tv, Netflix and wi fi., and a small living area. Outside is a fully covered hot tub as well as a log burner and gas bbq The space The original house within who's garden it sits was originally a small holding, The Smokehouse dates from around 1845 where it was used as a meat and vegetable smokehouse providing for the small holding. The owners have restored the original building and added a small bedroom, bathroom and living area and created a private garden which contains all you need for a relaxing break including a fully covered hot tub, log burner and gas bbq. Please note that this is a tiny quirky home and will not be suited to guests looking for a large free flowing space. Guest access Private garden with personal parking for 2 cars if necessary. Other things to note We are situated right next to the forestry centre with walking and cycle trails as well as Go Ape treetop adventure and a nice coffee shop. We are also central to all Midlands attractions including Alton Towers, The Beautiful town of Lichfield with its great bars restaurants and Cathedral, National Trust sites. Good train links to Birmingham, Manchester and London We are an excellent base for walking, mountain biking or simply relaxing. The owners also offer special occasion packages with balloons and banners bottles of bubbles etc..or bespoke options to your requirements. The garden has a chiminea for which the owners provide kindling and logs which is perfect for relaxing in front of on cold winters nights.
