The Avery - Kalk Bay

The Avery came about when our Jurgen’s caravan of 15 years was taking a serious hammering from exposure to the elements yet we didn’t want to dispose of it because of its fond memories. That along with a very old tree - home to a range of birds including the beautiful sounding weavers (thus The Avery) - and a unutilised part of our property, we decided to marry the two. The result is a private and unique stay within walking distance to everything that Kalk Bay has to offer. The space An upgraded caravan with built in queen sized bed (proper mattress), an inside kitchenette and dining area. The caravan opens onto undercover surrounding deck and seating area with freestanding barbecue. There is a separate shower bathroom. Guests enter through a private entrance from the road. Guest access Their entrance is private from the road and their accommodation is private too.
