The 2 rooms share the smart lock back entrance that leads to a shared 4-piece bathroom and a well stocked kitchenette with full fridge. The owners of the home stay on the main floor as well as upstairs and may come down to the shared laundry. The backyard is lush and has a deck and patio furniture for all to enjoy. The whole home has a relaxed vibe and is located just 2 blocks from historic Whyte Ave and a 15-minute walk from the University of Alberta campus. Guest access You will have a keyed lock on your bedroom. And shared access to the full bathroom, laundry and kitchenette. Also during nice weather feel free to enjoy the back patio and fenced in yard where the homeowners have worked hard on flower beds and raised garden planters. There’s a beautiful thoughtfully placed smoking area just off the garden as to not feel alienated while keeping the doorways clear. You just may get offered a snack if you haven’t already helped yourself to one from the abundant fruit trees. During your stay You will share the laundry with the house and the bath and kitchenette with guest in the other basement bedroom. They also have their own personal space You may come across the owners as they come down to do their laundry or if you’re enjoying the yard. Your co-host Jennifer lives right next door. I’m always available Other things to note Fred is the resident kitty. He’s not often downstairs but you may cross his path.
