The floor-to-ceiling glass entrance provides an enviable view of the pool and garden, which you can also enjoy from the front patio of the unit. The module is designed with passive ventilation in mind, allowing warmer air to rise and flow out through elevated screened windows. It also has a ceiling fan to keep it fresh and breezy during the warmest months. The space Papelillo is one of 5 stand-alone rooms on the grounds of Casa Remanso, a modern home and retreat space featured in several architectural publications, including Architectural Digest. The property is fully integrated in its natural surroundings, having been designed around large boulders, tamarind trees, and a colossal 9-meter cardón cactus native to the site. The house features a semi-olympic length pool in which to refresh yourself or swim laps, and a peaceful garden for lounging about. Guest access Guests have access to the garden space, the pool, and the outdoor dining and lounging area by the pool. On weekends, we also provide an included continental breakfast for guests, featuring house-made breads, jams, granola, yogurt, and more. The area of the property that begins in the covered dining space is not available to guests; it is a private residence and only opened for special events.
