Recently refurbished, spacious apartment in a beautiful converted mill in the heart of the Peak District National Park - perfect for those seeking a tranquil retreat away from the hustle and bustle of city life. With access to stunning walks from the door local pubs and restaurants within walking distance in Millers Dale and Tideswell, and only a short distance from the bustling market towns of Bakewell and Buxton, Litton Mill is an excellent location from which to explore the peaks. The space The Converted former Victorian Mill building is in the beautiful hamlet of Litton Mill, alongside the River Wye. There is direct access from Litton Mill to The Monsal Trail, an 8.5 mile traffic free route for walkers, runners, cyclists and horse riders. The Monsal Trail runs between Blackwell Mill in Chee Dale to Bakewell. There are also walks to Tideswell, Litton and Cressbrook - or follow the river towards Water cum Jolly ( this will be wet in places !!) The limestone way can be accessed at Millers Dale, a short walk away. Access to the apartment is via a large panelled communal entrance foyer. There are 6 steps to the apartment which is situated on the Ground floor Number 4 boasts a stunning, comfortable open plan lounge, diner and kitchen area with huge feature windows giving views of the River Wye behind the Mill Building. The well equipped kitchen includes a washer/dryer and dishwasher for your convenience. There are a selection of board games in the lounge for our guests to use. Bedroom 1 has a super kingsized bed and single chair bed, with en-suite bathroom with bath and shower. Bedroom 2 has a double bed and single chair bed, with en-suite shower room. Both bedrooms enjoy views over the river behind. A travel cot with mattress can be provided upon request. Super fast fibre broadband is available throughout the property. Outside is a shared garden area with seating besides the river. The Apartment is within easy access via road or Monsal Trail to the Anglers Rest at Millers Dale, which serves excellent food and a great selection of Real ales. The Anglers gets busy, so booking is recommended. Guest access Guests have exclusive access to the whole of the self contained apartment Other things to note There is unallocated parking outside the entrance to the Mill Building for one car, and an allocated space in the underground car park, which also serves as a secure storage for bikes. There is a lift between the car park and ground floor
