This gorgeous 3 Bed renovated rustic stone homestead was built in the 1800’s,with hot tub is a small working farm , incl mini sheep & lambs, mini cow, goats, alpacas, and chooks & peacocks.Located in the wine lovers' heaven of Barossa Valley, we offer panoramic views of vineyards, undulating hills, trees, dams, kangaroos grazing on the paddocks , brilliant sunsets. The farm is surrounded by some of the Barossa Valley's finest and most picturesque vineyards. Private & Tranquility plus ! The space The colonial stone homestead features three bedrooms, a large open plan living/dining with floor-to-ceiling feature glass wall, a kitchen, shower, toilet & veranda to three sides taking in the gorgeous views. The homestead is on a six-acre working farm with full-time resident miniature sheep, cows, goats, alpacas, and chooks (you can join in at feeding time). The farm is surrounded by some of the Barossa Valley's finest and most picturesque vineyards and is approximately 20 minutes from the towns of Angaston, Tanunda ,& Mount pleasant. Guests will arrive to a gourmet breakfast basket with a seasonal assortment of farm-fresh eggs, sausages, fresh bread, local produce, locally made jams, and other yummy treats—tea and coffee with an espresso machine. The homestead uses rainwater; however, a bottled water cooler is used for drinking water. There is one bathroom in the homestead and a seperate toilet . There is a wood combustion heater in the main living area that warms up the majority of the house. While staying at Alluring Hideaways, (seasonal) pick and eat fruit from the trees (seasonal) and feed the farm animals. You can relax at the end of the day in an outdoor hot tub overlooking the vineyards or spend time sitting by the fire pit and simply looking up at the stars sipping your favourite beverage. There are many interesting and exciting things to do and places to explore in the Barossa Valley, including wine tours, kids mini golf , walking and bike trails, hill climbing, golf, and gourmet food adventures. We can help you book wine tours and organise chauffeurs (car, bus, and helicopter). We can also provide cheese platters & source local wines or set up a special surprise for your guests such as cakes, flowers etc that fits in with your budget , we need prior notice . Guest access Guest have access to the homestead and grounds. It’s a very private & picturesque location. Some areas such as animal enclosures & dam area is restricted unless via invitation by the hosts. It is a working farm, workshop, sheds & Machinery are strictly out of bounds. Other things to note The farm has a fenced paddock with open dam very near the homestead guests MUST be vigilant and supervise their children at all times. Further,due to farm animals being present, to ensure their well being we are unable to host guests with pets .There is a great affordable pet motel nearby & hosts can provide contact details if required.
